  1. Golden Brownie - Stranglers
  2. Bass The World do one of their brief reviews of the Mark Bass Yellow Basses.
  3. Hmm, a Gene Simmons signature bass, with an NS EUB headstock; interesting. However, he's captured you nicely and the Mustang's 2 thumb rests too.
  4. Nosfertu, the bass player (what they were going for I suspect).
  5. The Choux Must Go On - Queen
  6. Bedlam in Belgian Bun - AC/DC
  7. Welcome To The Pitta - Bruce Dickinson
  8. Just have to pick the right player.
  9. Another couple to consider: Bass Collection https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/blockhead-bass/ https://www.basscentre.com/bass-collection-jive-bass.html Who knows what they're like, but a very yellow and affordable, MarkBass https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/markbass-mb-yellow-jb/ An even cheaper, original run Sadowsky MetroExpress https://www.thomann.co.uk/sadowsky_metroexpress_21_vin_mo_blmp.htm
  10. Turn To Scone - Joe Walsh
  11. Vintage and Cort do J types at new, reasonable prices. However, this just caught my eye… https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/200129355041008--sadowsky-metroexpress-standard-jj-4-string-tobacco-burst-morado
  12. Na Na Naan - Cozy Powell
  13. Free Phalling - Tom Petty
  14. Short scales seem to fit into a mix so easily; sounds great.
  15. If they need it that much, they should be willing to pay for it, especially if you have to put some work in to learn the tunes (maybe you don’t). In answer to your actual question, no I haven’t.
  16. Maybe change the style of mic? Go for one on those 1950s looking ones. Still looks cool, perhaps even cooler than an SM58 (YMMV), and reduces the teeth on grill potential as it’s a different shape altogether.
  17. Flamethrower - The J. Geils Band
  18. I’d give you a pass then.
  19. Gasoline - Audioslave
  20. Hmm, buy some tuners and other hardware in advance (if you know the sizes of course)? In other news, another month and I’m still in! I don’t feel right
  21. Love Changes Everything - Climie Fisher
  22. Some set ups just fit your hand better. Once you’ve experienced this, other necks, even ones that you were perfectly happy with previously, don’t feel quite right. For me, Jazz width necks never feel right and some full fat Precision necks are just too big. My Goldilocks nut width is 40mm (give or take). You’ve plainly found a set of dimensions that suit you best. Take a note of them and use them when selecting new basses in the future.
  23. Everybody Needs A Friend - Wishbone Ash
