Oh I don’t know about that; seems a bit harsh. Yes, there are and will be some boutique type lovelies, but there have already been some cheaper, workaday instruments shared. This isn’t meant to be a porn thread, as far as I can see, it’s meant to be what it says in the title and, yes, some of them will be porn and some may wish to show off but, for the most part, I think folks are sticking with the spirit of it. Our favourite venue has just cancelled us for the beginning of April. No real surprise, but a shame nonetheless. I had another gig 2 weeks later with another band that I had to get a dep in for (I’m supposed to be away - we’ll see about that I guess) but I reckon they’ll cancel too. Going to be an even leaner year than I anticipated. Hard to justify any GAS without some gigs .

I played one of these the other day and I came to three conclusions: 1. They’re great. 2. I like the feel of short scales. 3. It was a mistake and I shouldn’t have done it.* *(for my GAS you understand).

Tried one of these on Thursday when I was really impressed. If the body had been a little larger, my credit card would’ve been sweating. Still not writing it off though, just want to try some other SS basses.

I always think of scale length in inches, but nut width in mm. 🤪
