Whilst I'm not an encyclopaedia of music/songwriting talent, I have been around a goodly while and I think I have had exposure to a very wide range of music throughout my life. To create a rainbow, light needs to be refracted through water, dark is the absence of light. Semantics, I know, but good fun.
