    Geddy Lee pedal

When are we going to see these in the UK @Tech21NYC? I'm starting to get fidgety 😬
  2. Reeks of troll. Established film director who doesn’t like artists. Firmly established in his bedroom, under the bridge methinks.
  3. Well done you 👏👏👏 It’s only when their real bread and butter (the exhibitors) start to kick off that anything really happens. We thank you.
  4. There are those irritating little things that, as @ped says, seem to be ubiquitous advert fodder. Then there is the baritone uke...
  5. Three months to go and still no confirmed line up? Very poor indeed. Sounds like it could end up being the guitar show’s sidekick in the long run, or disappear completely. However, I’m going with a bunch of guitar playing chums this year who I don’t see that often (one is another bassist, so I won’t be on my own whilst checking out the bass gear) so it’ll be a fun day anyway.
  6. Aesthetically speaking, I like the P/J config. However, tonally speaking, I’m a fan of a P/P config.
  7. Way too much talented for one band. Absolutely top musicians.
  8. Joe Dart says white too.
  9. Yeah, Danny’s tone is instantly recognisable. Pino’s fretless playing is also unmissable for me. Mick Karn’s is another. Perhaps it’s an unfretted thing.
  10. I played one of these many years ago and was amazed by the quality. P/G wise, white over the tort, but I’d like to see it with mint or a 3 ply black/white too.
  11. I work with 2 singers who use IEMs, one takes ages, which means the FOH is often rushed. However, the other is done and dusted super quick, and the FOH seems right almost off the bat. I don't know if this is down to the product, or personal preferences.
  12. There you go, sorted. Good choice of strings there too, I love ‘em.
  13. I’m a bit of a Maruszczyk fanboy, so I have to give a shout out for their Jake bass, a P bass with a slightly narrower nut width (not J bass slim though) if you buy off the peg. My recent Pino-alike purchase. Sounds like a P to me.
  14. The nerd room at Ez Towers.
  15. 😂😂😂 I have just one band T shirt (it’s a Rush one, yes I like Rush, but it’s more about the imagery on that one), then I have a beer one (Brew Dog), a couple of Bass type ones (P bass and Ricky playing stormtrooper), an Old Grey Whistle Test one (probably my favourite), a Blade Runner quote and then a couple of random designs. I can’t be a blank canvas, I’m already bland enough 😥
  16. Ooh, sneaky! However, keeping the bass you already own and clearly like, is no bad thing and it is a beaut in its own right. You could of course try replacing the pickup for a ceramic one, but it may not achieve the desired result.
  17. I don’t know anything about curing that finish, but I think it looks great.
  18. Well I suppose PP did replace MK on Gary Numan’s, I Assassin.
  19. Loving the Mick Karn vibe on SIN.
  20. No, front to back (depth). I always found (it’s been a while mind) the rosewood boarded necks to be shallower, at least on 4 string models. Things may have changed. If you find this maple boarded beauty easier to play, prefer the ceramic tone and like the aesthetics (and why wouldn’t you?), it sounds like it’s time to open the wallet. Happy days!
  21. Sounds like a decision made to me. I have to agree, that maple one looks stunning. If it’s as comfortable as the rosewood to play (personally, I have found EBMM maple ‘boards more chunky than rosewood ones, at least on 4 stringers) then go for it. Either way, it’s s nice dilemma to have.
  22. The Bass Whisperer being blown away by a Serek at 7:51.
