  1. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and my eye says 🤢.
  2. French Kissing in the USA - Debbie Harry
  3. Billericay Dickie - Ian Dury & Co (again)
  4. I love those Big Singles. I had an SR1605 and when I first played it at a gig, where I was plainly digging in a bit more, I initially wondered where the glorious, raunchy sound was coming from and it took a little while to realise it was me. It was a really nice bass but, at the time, I found the body a bit small for me. Nowadays, with my playing more short scales, it wouldn’t be an issue at all, although I still don’t like the gold hardware.
  5. Wheat ‘Til Tomorrow Comes - Eurythmics
  6. I wonder if it’s named for Brian Bromberg?
  7. The Size of a Cow - The Wonder Stuff
  8. She’s Got The Jack (Russell) - AC/DC
  9. I wouldn’t have thought a few thousandths of an inch would be a particularly big issue. I restrung my Rob Allen 5 string E-C once and it didn’t need any adjustment and there was about a 0.025 difference there (changed it back as I didn’t like it particularly). Try it and see.
  10. Snickers Sally Through The Alley - Robert Palmer
  11. A quick Google search brought up a definition in the first result. It was an extract from an antiques website. It said that, amongst the antique industry, vintage is 40+ years, with antique being 100+. However, if anything, antique dealers' definitions are often what will net them the best price (although antique has always been viewed as 100 years IIRC). Vintage just means of an age, that said, I reckon 40 years is a reasonable definition.
  12. Certainly the case for acoustic instruments, although 24 hours seems excessive. Leave it for an hour if you're concerned at all, then rip away.
