  1. The problem isn’t always the speaker either, but the cabinet it’s house in. I know it’s not always practical, or even possible, but trying out combos beforehand, preferably side by side, is the best way forward. FWIW I use Phil Jones rigs for both EB and EUB, which feature multiple 5” speakers (as alluded to by @Beedster above) and, IMO, sound great.
  2. Make sure that that pacifier is returned to its owner beforehand, or you’ll be on the end of a baby’s hard stare.
  3. It’s Chapati And I’ll Cry If I Want To - Dave Stewart and Barbara Gaskin
  4. Peter Gabriel’s So has 2 brilliant runs of 3. Red Rain - Sledgehammer -Don't Give Up and then In Your Eyes - Mercy Street - Big Time.
  5. Always happy to contribute to this type of question. My list doesn’t really change that much to be fair: Pino (as always) Tony Levin (again, never leaves the list) Roscoe Beck (one of my biggest influences early on) Bobby Vega (possibly the funkiest man on the planet) Lee Sklar (absolute legend) Dee Murray (just so musical and hugely missed) Chuck Rainey (mainly for his work with Steely Dan, which leads on to…) Walter Becker (often overlooked for his bass work) Danny Thompson (DB tone monster)
  6. Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? - Paula Cole (what a voice!)
  7. Loved her on OGWT and it’s hard choice between her and whispering Bob for my favourite presenter of that show.
  8. I had an LS2 many, many years ago and I swapped a couple of the jack sockets to facilitate better/easier cable runs. Perhaps this is his solution or maybe he bought my old one
  9. Right now, I’m listening to something a good chum and ex band mate has released.
  10. Pulling Muscles From A Shell - Squeeze
  11. Anthony Jackson’s Fender hybrid was the ‘Career Girl’.
  12. For Your Thighs Only - Sheena Easton
  13. I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace
