  1. I tried a good number of chorus pedals that were available, when I was looking for one. I settled on the EBS Unichorus and have been using that ever since. It has chorus, flanger and pitch modulation settings (I just use the chorus setting). I’ve had that for at least 15 years (along with an EBS octave pedal) and see no reason the change. In that time the only maintenance that has been required, has been to resolder the connections to the footswitch, when they became cracked/dry last year.
  2. That is very good to hear. The tone control on my JMJ is very usable for a wide range of tones, sounds like this is the same; happy days. That is not making my waiting time any easier .
  3. Mine is scheduled to arrive Friday-Monday, I’m hoping it’s the front part of that delivery window. 🤞
  4. Hard Way To Live - Deke Leonard
  5. A shaped piece of dowel (used a nail file), painted with nail polish, drilled and countersunk, attached using the pickguard screw and a piece of double sided tape.
  6. This is what I do. The Basschat icon on my tablet takes me straight to unread content, bypassing the front homepage. If I want to look into older stuff, I use the search function.
  7. Out of GAS? Nope, just pulled the trigger on a P bass. There is no end, just brief respite.
  8. Damn this thread, damn it I say! Just pulled the trigger on the more expensive, blond version. OK, full disclosure, I've had raging P bass GAS for months and was contemplating building my own (see, putting parts together), so this thread has actually saved me a few quid. I just hope that I'm not disappointed and just keep using my Mustang. 🤞
  9. I have the smaller version of this and, "Very solid and high quality," is an understatement. GLWTS.
  10. A great live album.
  11. A 50th birthday party at a venue that we’ve played previously. A slow start as folk were really just wanting to chat and catch up, all the dancing took place within our last 20 minutes or so. Not happy with the set up as the keyboard player and drummer took up all the rear space and I had to have my rig right next to me, up front. Needless to say, I could barely hear anything that close, just a bassy flub (it sounded good out front during soundcheck), which I don’t like and I have raised this as an issue going forward. Folk came up and said how good we were and deserved more audience participation, but I know that it was a sub par performance, again and that, if they thought that was good, my previous bands would have blown them away. I miss the technical and professional abilities of those guys.
  12. Red ones are now temporarily out of stock (BC bought up the stock probably ), blonde ones available for £285; very tempted.
  13. I hate it when they use rock stars to sell cleavages. Subtle it ain’t. I quite like the tune though.
  14. You were warned . Welcome to the club.
  15. And it's been released https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-66720789 . Charlie on 2 tracks, Steve Jordan on the rest.
  16. That is marvellous and Ox-tastic! Make that statement and make it loud 🤘.
  17. Yes, that Retrovibe caught my eye too and had to find it using the filters, as I had the same redirect to a Cort.
  18. Time of the year I think, folk are trying to squeeze the last out of the summer and with the upturn in the weather, this effect is amplified. September onwards will hopefully see a return to better turnouts.
  19. I’ve used EBS chs and 8ve pedals with fretless for decades, never found them wanting.
  20. Children of the Grave - Sabbath
  21. Jump up and down, whilst shouting, “RESULT!”
