  1. A band called the SharpeeZ and Full House, Frankie Miller's old band.
  2. I have the good fortune to play with Clive. A very fine player indeed.
  3. Be fair. It probably took the panda quite a while to calm down.
  4. Absolutely this. You can always try a bit of a haggle over the phone.
  5. Interesting piece on Vinted scams on telly last night. They invited contact over similar schemes. I have not been affected myself, but it sounds like an invitation for someone who has, to make contact. On The One Show.
  6. Must be bad, even his guitar has lost its colour.
  7. Clearly considering what to have for dinner there.
  8. Lovely looking thing. And with a time control? I'd set it to 1979 and be 21 again (please forgive, I couldn't resist). GLWTS.
  9. Blimey. That's provo-cative. He could dine out on that forever (obviously not, of course).
  10. Reminds me of Bad News. "I could play Stairway To Heaven when I was 12. Jimmy Page didn't write it 'til he was 22. I think that says a lot".
  11. I thought the very same thing.
  12. That's correct. He had after me.
  13. No. That was actually the one I had. Serial 137800.
  14. Do you have a link for that?
  15. I'd go rosewood. I suspect it's a US version (looking at the tuners). It'll have US spec parts on it.
  16. From the Nomenclature (the commodity code bible) Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus; clocks and watches; musical instruments; parts and accessories thereof Chapter 92Musical instruments; parts and accessories of such articles 9207Musical instruments, the sound of which is produced, or must be amplified, electrically (for example, organs, guitars, accordions) 920790 Other 9207901000 Guitars
  17. Was the neck an off the shelf item? Can you get the commodity code directly from the manufacturer? I am not sure which code though. The US doesn't use the harmonised codes the rest of the world (pretty much) does. I am guessing it's a harmonised code and they are easy to determine.
  18. 6 people have it in their carts, apparently. Yet another bass I should have kept (albeit not this one). I had mine before the internet era and had no idea they were so rare. Sounded amazing but, like all slabs, was pretty uncomfortable to play for any amount of time.
  19. For years and years I tried to track down a Buster head or combo. Fortunately for my back, that particular parcel of GAS has dissipated.
  20. Interesting comparison video here (someone had to post one).
  21. It was quite late on in the 70's when things started going down hill and the boat anchors arrived. 66 to 74 is the purple patch for me, although the earlier of these are getting pretty pricey now - I paid £260 for my '66 about 1983.
  22. The TT-800 manual is a master class in manual writing (as I have said before).
  23. Can you tell where it says that in the manual please? I had a look in mine (out of curiosity) and can't see that suggestion.
