  1. Two from me Always a sucker for a good choral performance. And ..... Love their tongue-in-cheek-ness. The Darkness Rig Rundown is terrific for the same reason. By the way. Do we know why Michael Buble was apparently breaking wind over that present?
  2. Unless you need the dosh, keep it. Who knows how things will turn out and it'll cost a darn sight more to replace it.
  3. Sold a Mesa Clearlink to Mike. Immediate payment and he collected it (safely). Always very pleasant to see Mike and chat. Can't recommend highly enough.
  4. That will be awesome. I ran my two Diesel 2x15s with a pair of Orange 120's for a short time in the early 90's.
  5. I know what you mean. It's a brilliantly thought out and engineered piece of kit. The switches themselves are great. No click on, click off. Just press down.
  6. Oops too late. was going to add this. https://www.thomann.de/gb/palmer_pocket_amp_bass.htm
  7. I used this unit between my switcher and the amp rack. Here's what Boogie say about it:- https://www.mesaboogie.com/tone-tools/buffers-line-drivers-line-balancing/clearlink-output-buffer-balanced-line-driver.html It has to be said, I had no idea it would even be useful until I bought it and it really did 'clean up' the clarity of the sound along the combined length of the guitar to switcher and switcher to amp cable run. You will see it can also be used as a DI (though I never did). It has velcro on the bottom, where it was on my board. Price is shipped to the UK (in its original box).
  8. This is a great bit of kit. I used it to switch between active and passive basses. It is the 3at1 SGOS - https://lehle.com/EN/Lehle-3at1-SGoS There are three inputs (two of which have level controls) and two outputs. One press on the pedal sends to output 1 and another press sends to output 2. The lights indicate which output is being used. I used output 1 to the amps and output 2 to the tuner. Build quality is superb and the footswitches themselves are brilliant in operation, no clicks etc, just completely silent. Selling because this fed the amps via a buffer unit and I have bought a switcher that has that function built in so this is surplus. Price includes postage to the UK.
  9. Frankly, I see no need for you to apologise and I am somewhat amused by someone taking you to task for airing dirty laundry and then doing the self same thing in the very next sentence. You may regret what you said but it is none the less accurate for that. Alex behaved like a d1ck and admitted as much. The difference here is that he is (or should be) promoting a brand and customer service is an important factor. He got exactly the reaction he deserved. Anyway. Welcome back to the Boogie club, when you're back in!
  10. Do check out the Subways. My 2 15" cabs are every bit the equal of the Diesel 2x15 they replaced. GLWTS
  11. I think I could almost be tempted by a single cut 6 string if it was CAR with matching headstock. Just a superb colour combination. If my Jazz bass itch hadn't been scratched that would be on its way to Pompey. GLWTS. A wonderful price for such a quality instrument.
  12. And singers? Be careful how you answer that!! 🙂
  13. Wasn't about returning pickups was it? 🙂
  14. Surely it's better to have critical feedback than just having smoke blown up your a$$?
  15. I was at Portsmouth Guildhall to see ECATA. Nick Lowe was depping on bass at the time. It was a Wednesday night (when the TOTP bands recorded their backing tracks the day before transmission) and EC had made it down before the band. He came out on his own and did a good hour on his own before the rest of the band arrived and joined him. Reminded me of the time when Rory Gallagher's band were stuck in fog and he was alone at the venue. His brother ended up on drums and he got a pianist and bass player out of the audience.
  16. If I recall they were supported by a band called Hustler. The following year they were supported by the UK band Mr Big (of Romeo fame). There were a superb band and the guitarist/singer (Dicken) was rushing about the whole time he wasn't singing.
  17. A great gig. I first saw them on this tour, at Southampton.
  18. Excellent call. Just the control of the trem arm is insane.
