I have a set of Irish tour bare knuckles in an old jap strat which are immense but I hadn't thought of their bass pups... Thanks for the suggestion!

I guess that's the million dollar question when there are so many variables to consider... Any thought on lollar (?) pups? Have heard them mentioned a few times but know nothing about them... Thanks for the suggestions so far!

So, have bought a bitsa jazz bass. In the past have bought vintage or cs fenders so have never mucked around changing pups but thought with a bitsa it might be fun to upgrade here and there and have an experiment. So, what brands should I consider? I guess I'm more into a passive vintage kind of tone but might consider something active and a little more modern sounding. But the options seem almost too plentiful! Any advice on either good passive or active upgrades greatly appreciated! Thanks Ps. Apologies if this isn't the best forum for this question...

So... I bit the bullet and placed my order about 6 weeks ago. The wait is absolutely killing me and I had to tell people who understand. It's a 66 Jazz in shoreline gold with desert sand undercoat, matching headstock, rosewood with b&b neck... I'll get some pictures up as soon as it arrives ;-)

Bought a bass from David... No case with it but his care in packaging was great. Excellent fast communication throughout! And the bass turned up set up immaculately. Buy with confidence people! Thanks again David!
