1. Zombie thread! Boss ce2w is now my go to fretless friend!
2. Oh, and a bow can be fun as well!
3. Run it into a Headway EDB-2 pre amp, i find it warms up the sound, ns traditional strings are also well worth the investment.
4. To celibrate NOT getting flooded this weekend, i bought a pedaltrain classic jr AND a Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian!
5.
The Nate Mendel Sig Precision has a slimmer than regular neck, and is a bass that gets many great reviews.
This ^^^
6. So far so good, covers reverb, delay, chorus and filter. Thats just the presets i haven't even started pissing about with the settings yet. Only downside is the looper has no volume control, hence the RC1 last in the chain.
7. Boss DD-500 added yesterday......
8. Then theres Kneebody - http://youtu.be/E0LytZCQEPk
9. I second the Geoff suggestion, very helpfull.
10. D string problem solved! I had twisted the string when fitting it, bought a new one, problem solved. A slight loosening of the truss rod cured the dull G string.
11. Thanks thats interesting and usefull info. But even unplugged, the G string sounds less sustained than the rest and the D has a roundwound zing to it?
12. I have fitted some ns traditional strings to my NXT 4 string, the E and A sound great, the D sounds very 'zingy' and the G sounds dull or choked. Any suggestions? Truss rod? Bridge adjustment?
13. Its all good, no low end loss, there is a plate reverb setting in the instructions, but i tend to use it with a short slapback setting mostly, the drive adjustent gives a nice bite to the delays. I have the new chorus pedal as well and i am just as pleased !
14. I have one, really pleased with it, the expression pedal opens up loads on trippy shizzle!
15. Or trade it for the Fender Tony Franklin i'm saving for!
