I disassembled all 5 tuning machines, wiped and relubricated them with vaseline oil. 4 pcs started working properly. The G-string machine head was too tight and could not be dismounted. It needs to be replaced.

I know there is a hex key. I simply showed this screw with a screwdriver as an illustration. I have closed and unscrewed it with a hex key, but nothing changes.

Hi The machine heads on my Sadowsky MetroLine are too hard to turn. Anyone ever over-tightened them. Can anyone suggest how to get them to spin more easily again? Adjusting the screw in the picture does not help. My bass has Hipshot Ultralite HB6 Clover 3/8 bass tuners.

Hi As a result of falling against the corner of the table, a piece was knocked out of the corner of the fingerboard. What would you recommend? Mix rosewood dust with wood glue and fill the hole and then sand it smooth? Thanks in advance for the good advice

Hi, can someone recommend which J- bass style (5-strings) pickups are adjustable (magnets heights). I need them for my Sadowsky MV5 and my problem is the G and D string volume diference. G- tring is louder than D.

Hi, can anyone tell me the reason why this is so. When I let down pickups then D- string will also be quieter and the volume ratio between G and D stays the same. D- string seems to be in balance with others, but G is louder.
