monitors are the best for mixing they dont put color to the sound so the best way are speakers not headphones but even that you sould record with zoomh4 or some similar device

its easy and you only need to take off the 4 allen keys in cmd121p thats the case you dont need to go to markbass to get a top simply take a plastic chopboard and screw it to it then buy the markbass bag and stick it in finito you have your own head i ve used it to anything 4x10 8x10 2x10 and is awsome

my idea is simple and easy what you should do: go to a studio for rehersal and ask before if he has a zoom h4 or simillar device its only costing 5 pounds per hour m8 then record it and post it

m8 i have a fretlees 1986 early ernie ball (has only the logo ernie ball the rest is pre ernie) two band eq and beats in tone my 3eq stingray 5 for sure is an awsome bass bravo for your choice..

I have a stingray5 an EBS multicomp and LMKII the same as you do i dont use the multicompressor any more.. I think stingray has very tone variety if u use the switcher to the neck and you add a bit of bass the preamp is kicking in and the sound makes sense. Dynamics are the best for any instrument i use multicomp only when i need to play something that is flat and dosent needs dynamics..

Guys I have a quick question for you about my markbass. Which extension cab you think fits better to my CMD121P? I was thinking adding a new traveler 2x10 cab to extend the range and attack of my sound instead of buying the new York extension cab.. Share your thoughts Thanks
