Blimey I go through more Trace set ups than I dont know what,I think Carlsberg made a bass rig !! Great sounding trace cab, bag loads of bottom end and punch,and light too,but to top it off one is one of only 25 All valve mk2 V4 heads,not the single channel early one but the full blown 2 channel bitchin snarling animal.If you aint heard one of these,well I dont think you will find better imho,and I have had and played through a load! Saturday 30th of July.Location is the Marquis of Granby Wellingore.Lincs.Event. Its my birthday ya see and were havin the usual gathering of friends,bands musicians etc.Its like a mini festival going from about 1 in the afternoon to hopefully 1 in the morning.Its an outdoor event but will some acoustic stuff inside too.Free entry .Just throw money in the buckets for charity ( Papworth Hospital,my Mum had a life saving transplant so I feel I owe em,well forever actually) Anyways should of made it a 2 dayer and had a bass bash on the Sunday,oh well,maybe next year?

Hi Kiwi,I note you replied to me whilst trying to sell the Warwick.See your one of the privilaged few to own the mighty V8,oh baby!Never realized what small numbers they made the V4s in.If I read the serial number right its No2.Anyways,a guy on BC had seen my Warwick for trade,wasnt to interested but said he would let me have it when I got funds,which was great,so recently sold the trusty Marshall Vba400 and my V type pre amp which nicely covered the cost.So now just left with a V4,V6,ah250 mk4 and mk5.The V4 is the ONE.It has got the best tone I have heard with that extra channel which go from slight brake up to pure dirty filth.Mmmm. It was looking a little road worn so just revamped it.Managed to find a NOS V amp badge too!

They did rock though,slightly unrehearsed but I really like that raw edge,far better than U2 and depressing Cold play IMO But Bouncie Kowles all girl band played pretty good,and yes I know theres a loada sample bla bla but they could all play and if you listen back to some of the drumming,she was awesome.

Rich is a top geeza,totally on my wavelength,shared stories,drank and smoked,played bass and had an enjoyable 5 or 6 hours just havin a laugh,oh yeh and he bought my Marshall VBA 400,top bloke.Would recommend dealing with him anytime.
