Just checked prices and recalculated - it comes out at £213 more. Not to bad overall.

I’ve promised the kids Berlin this year. Its a bit of a trek from there. Adrian responded: “You buy without german vat + shipping about 50,-e to UK.” Uk tax would be applied by customs. This happened last year when I bought a Sushibox Slampegg Bee pedal from the states. I think it was £43 tax on a £165 pedal. That does work out to around 26% as MichaelDean said. Minus the 19% German tax it’s not too bad. I’ll see what BD say but probably going to go ahead anyway.

Apologies if this has been answered but I have searched a couple of times and can’t find the answer: Is the price quoted the price you pay? I.e. no nasty import duty on top to get it released from HMRC? I know that Thomann charge everything upfront but not sure if Public Peace do. Anyone bought a new Maruszczyk recently?
