1. Here we have my beloved '75 Fender Precision. The bass is 100% original, Fender case included. Serial Number 550933 My only reason to offer it here is that I'm more of a Jazz Bass Man and I would like to trade it for an all original 70's Jazz Bass, ideally white and maple neck.I will consider other colours but I definitely want a maple neck this time. As you will see on the pictures the bass is excellent condition and plays like a dream, low your action as much as you want and no fretbuzz... you wouldn't tell this bass is nearly 40 years old! It has a lovely tone to it and it's so easy to play. I'm offering the bass as a trade but, as per Forum rules, the sale price is £1800 The bass can be seen/tried in Peacehaven. Any questions, please ask and I'll be happy to answer them.
2. Out of all the cabs I have tried I'd say Bergantino NV610 and NV412. Also liking the Aguilar DB410. I have to choose one you say? OK then, Bergantino NV412!
3. For me, Aguilar DB750! After having tried many, many amps, the DB750 does it for me, not overly heavy and plenty of power and weight to each note. Had one, sold it and soon bought another one as nothing came close to the Aguilar. Ampeg SVT Classic is really nice too I have to say.
4. Nice....no doubt I will get me one too!...I love my VT Bass, and now DI, blend.... perfect!
5. A quick update: Barkin helped me out with the purchase of the Akai Deep Impact. The pedal was with someone that did not belong to the forum, close to where he leaves so he kindly agreed to meet with this person. I transferred him the money and he arrange to meet with the seller, checked and tried the pedal, then rang me and let me know everything was OK. He paid for the pedal and then sent it to me straight away. Communication was excellent and he kept me informed at all times. I'm now the happy owner of the pedal thanks to him. I really have no words to thank him enough... He's the best example of what Basschat is all about. Ian, thank you very much for all your help!

8.
If it falls through with barkin I don't mind helping out although I'm probably a bit further out
Thank you very much...I really, really appreciate it! I'm now sorted, Barkin is helping me out on this one.
9. Why only matching headstock on the blue jazz and not the other '64s? I got so excited, I've always wanted a white jazz with matching headstock

11.
Oh - in that case, feel free to drop me a PM. Peacehaven?
PM sent...thanks!
12.
Drop me a PM if you like. I'm 15 mins drive from Cambourne and only too glad to help out if I can. Assuming it's Cambourne near Cambridge...!
Yes, it's the one near Cambridge.
13. I need a favour from someone that lives or is anywhere near Cambourne. I'm buying something, a pedal, but I can't collect it, I can't travel far as we've just had a new baby girl and I have to stay home. It's an expensive bit of kit and the seller has no feedback and hasn't been active on the forum that much so I don't want to take the risk. If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it!
14. I've just bought a Boss pedal from Nick. Excellent communication, pedal arrived promptly and in excellent condition. All in all, a pleasure to deal with. Thanks!
15. Sale did not happen so still up for sale.
16.
Are there front and rear rails? Are they adjustable for height?
Only front rails with different holes, as most of the rack cases I've seen, so you can adjust the height if your rack gear.
17. Still up for sale...one of the best cabs on the market!
18. £600? That's a crazy price for NV412!...don't sell it and specially at that price. In the near future you'll miss it and regret selling it, I have tried many other cabs and none of them came even close, I ended up buying another one in less than a year
19. I've just bought a Bass Big Muff from Chris. Excellent communication, pedal exactly as described and delivered safely so I would be happy to buy from him again. Thanks Chris!
