1. Well, I have made my mind and I'm about to order one. Only doubt I have now is if I should go for custom neck shape/dimensions or not? I was thinking of having it made to my Geddy Lee neck speck, which I love, but not sure if it will be worth the extra cash. How does the Maruszczyk neck compares to a regular Fender Jazz or the Geddy Lee, please?
2.
I suggested it to Doug and he said : Darkglass Microtubes 700 Class D Amp foot switch discussion So I think it is still a possibility.
So it might be possible then? It would be great as you'd virtually get three different tones, you could have clean, overdriven and full on distortion all in one little amp! I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra. My worry is when sending the signal to the PA, unless there's some EQ or CAB Sim, the distorted tones sound awful so not sure how useful the DI on the amp will be, when using dirty tones that is.
3. It would be even better if it had a double footswitch so you could toggle between the B7K and Vintage circuits as well as go clean. In my opinion, for it to be a completely killer amp, it would need to have some kind of cab emulation on the DI output so it doesn't sound like bees once you send your signal to the PA, and your on stage sound and PA sound are quite similar.
4. Another easy deal with Aharon. I bought an Aerodrums kit of him and he was a pleasure to deal with. The kit arrived safely and exactly as described. Happy to deal with him again. Thanks!...I'm having so much fun with the Aerodrums
5.
Sorry to resurrect a dying thread (11 days old), but where did you find them in the UK? I can't find any off eBay. The neck is a vintage modified jazz bass (Squier) Thanks - (A wannabe luthier)
From Netherlands, these ones here: http://www.customworldguitarparts.com/default/12-fender-genuine-truss-rod-washers-002-2335-049.html They arrived within a week and went into the trussrod with no problems.
6.
Great news - bet the genuine ones were quite a bit pricier than generics, but it's not like buying a replacement neck or anything. Good to get it playing properly I bet!
For £8, problem solved
7. Thanks guys and sorry about the late reply. I did manage to get hold of some genuine Fender washers and fitted them to my bass. So simple and great low action now
8. Pedal is now ready to order, tempting! €426, so around £308 delivered, expensive but still a good price compared to how much Deep Impact have been selling for!
9.
Please excuse the ignorance - but couldn't you just take off the truss rod nut and measure it? AFAIK fenders use single action truss rods, which means you can back it out all the way, and take a measurement with calipers or a suitably sized screw. Is it a USA or Mexican Fender? or Japan or other? When is it from? I know USA and most Mexican Fenders use imperial fittings, where as my experience of Japanese fenders is they are metric. The era could have an effect too (AFAIK most Mexican fenders use a mix of USA and non-USA components - like screws, truss rods etc, if my memory serves me correctly). If you do try to slip a washer on the truss rod, make sure you don't force it - you'd ideally be able to remove it later. Same with test fitting the nut on a screw - make sure it goes on well before applying torque.
Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately I don't have a caliper to measure the nut and I thought someone in here might have done this before and would know. I need the washers for an America. '64 custom shop jazz bass.
10. I have a bass that I'd need to fit a couple of washers so I can tighten the trussrod a bit more. Anyone knows the correct size and where could I get them from, please? I know Fender used to sell them but I can't find them here in the UK and from the States they are quite expensive. Thanks!
11. Sweet looking bass Sibob!
What would you be going for out of curiosity?
Not sure yet...but I quite like the look of the Jake 4p Absolution "White" they have in stock so I might base mine around that...we'll see
12.
[email protected] Good luck!
Thanks again!
13.
Not sure about radius - you probably can - but definitely the other two.

EVERYTHING on the bass is customizable. Which is what makes it amazing.
Thanks guys! ....now I'm in serious trouble! How do I get in touch with him, please?
14. Really nice basses!...very, very tempting Can you also change neck specs? Radius, width, thickness...

Best tuner pedal

TC Polytune Mini works really well and it doesn't take up much space.
16. Very sad news Loved he's singing and work in all the bands he was involved.
17. If anyone is interested I have a spare standing ticket for the Deftones gig at Wembley arena on Saturday 21st November. My partner can't make it in the end so I don't need it, I just want back what I paid for it £40.50 PM me if interested.
18. Can't believe this bass is still around! If I didn't have one of these already I'd be all over it...ummm, I could do with two actually!
19.
Ok but you might not like what Im about to say so buckle up; The music is superb, what a great energy, exploding rebellious, nice intros also! ... and then comes that voice I mean a very fine voice, the singer sure can sing BUT not for this style of music your band is playing He has a voice for softer romantic rock songs. Man I honestly wish you had a stronger voice in this great sounding record (this is only one tiny personal view others might think otherwise). I think it is your singer's romantic personality which comes out into the songs and that is great that he can express himself as he is and I don't think he should try and force him self sound tougher/stronger that would be faking and such would sound unnatural).
Thanks for taking the time and checking out our music and for your comments, I appreciate them...you always learn something from people's reviews of your music. Glad you liked the music!
20. Fernando is a top bass player and composer, very tasteful playing. Check his other work, worth a listen too!
21. We do it on my covers band and don't use any effects for it, simple P bass sound, vocals and keys add to the overall effect. To nail it, you'd just need a 5 string bass and use the low notes as he does.
22. Just tried to email him but no luck, it comes back as: Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: "][email protected]
23.
Hi there Paul, It might not be such a deal breaker if you can't do backing vocals, so I'd suggest that you get in touch directly with Steve and gave a chat with him. Regards Nik
Thanks Nik, I'll get in touch with him.
24. I'm near Brighton and I'd be interested but, unfortunately I can't really do backing vocals 😒
