1.
And Pablo, I'm going to be REALLY happy with it! Hope it will be here on thursday. It's like waiting for christmas ...
You are gonna be very happy, that Ampeg is a tone monster, so much better sounding than some other ones I've played through. Shipment is on schedule, no delays so far, and it should be with you on Thursday. It's been a pleasure Kevin!
 2.
Check out my video link in my sig for an example of overdrive blended with clean from a hartke vxl just to add grit and grind. It's on all the way through but imho really adds to the bit where the bass carries the verse. I use it in this way in a few tracks with lounge fly.
I love that tone! For me that's the perfetct example of how some overdrive can really enhance your sound.
 3.
....I think that is an absolutely crap idea, and this is the wrong place to bring it up...
+ 1.000.000
It is up to buyers to decide if they want to deal with people in far away countries and take the associated risks involved with a long distance deal .
Again +1.000.000 Lovely basses you have there...One day I hope to own a Stage II
 4.
Ill have a review up soon but wizard have just started making the rather amazing 'gaffer'. Which is a split coil p bass style humbucker in a jazz casing, I have two, one in each jazz neck location, and they sound huge!! Solo'd they turn my jazz into a big, fat snarly p bass (think jj burnel, green day) roll back the tone and it nails that vintage tone beautifully. I've also found that if you get the balance with the bridge just right it really adds depth and bite to the both pickups on full core tone. Can't recommend it enough for any jazz. Don't think they are on the website yet, although will be soon, but if you call or email wizard and ask for a gaffer Andy will sling you one. They are silent and look nice too with raised poles and a nice rounded edged casing.
Looking forward to your review and maybe, soundclips too Those pickups sound very interesting...umm
 5. Has anyone had the pleasure to try any of his bass guitars? If so, what's your opinion? I'm very interested in one of the Modern 5 24 frets 5 string models. What's the neck profile like? What about the sound? Any other dealers in UK apart from Jam Guitars in Bristol?

 14. I'd say Dimarzio Model Js. I have them on my Geddy Lee and they sound great, plenty of bottom end. If remember correctly, Bass Player Magazine described them as "Marshall Killers" becuase they cut through guitars with no problems. Added bonus is they are hum cancelling pickups. Check here for more info.: http://www.dimarzio.com/site/#/pickups/
 15. I highly recommend the Xotic Bass BB Preamp. Great overdrive with no loss of bottom end at all...And what a coincidence, I'm selling mine becuase I'm not using it nowadays. See here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=76872

Cheers, V.

interested on these basses? Fender Jazz Bass 1986 Japan and Eko Bass BX7 1982 Italy http://www.fetishguitars.com/html/eko/finalyears/bx7.html
Sorry guys, not interested in trades this time, I just need to free some cash to cover the costs of my Wal purchase.
 17.
That is a serious, serious bargain.
Yes, it's a bargain, you wouldn't tell it's not brand new!
 18. What a beautiful bass! I won't say don't sell it, don't worry. Only wanted to say how awesome these basses are, I own a Wal Cusom II and couldn't be happier, it's amazing the palette of sounds you have and how good an easy to play they are, it's my main bass without a doubt. Bump for a stunning bass.
 19. B:Assmaster "On Hold" BB Preamp still up for sale.
 20. Just to say that Martin is a nice, honest guy. I bought the 400+ from him, we met halfway and I'm really happy with the amp. Bump on me!
