1.
Some 9v pedals like 18v and some don't - for example alot of the fulltone range. What pedals are you looking to power specifically, Pablo?
Here is what I'm using at the moment: - Korg DT-10 Tuner - Sadowsky Bass Preamp/DI - EBS Multicomp - Boss LS-2 Line Selector - Jimi Hendrix Classic Fuzz - Polish Overdrive ...it's on the way. - Boss GEB-7 Bass Eq - Boss Chorus - Boss OC-2 Can any of them be powered by an 18v output?
 2. I know this may sound silly but, just in case, I wanted to confirm with you guys. To power my pedalboard I'm using a Dunlop DC Brick, which has seven 9v and three 18v outputs. Well the thing is that I'm using all the 9v outputs and none of the 18v is being used. Since I'm going to need two more extra 9v outputs I was just wondering if it would be possible to use the 18v outputs to power some 9v pedals. I know that if the pedals says it needs only 9v that's what you should power it with but I think I've heard before people powering some pedals, I think ditortion/overdrive/fuzz mainly, with 18v instead of 9v, am I right? What's your advice?
 3. Hello? Are you there? I have sent you a few messages in the last two weeks but no reply received.... Are you still selling the Lakland and the Sadowsky? Let us know, please.
 4. Fender Precision SOLD Lakland still up For Sale... Come on guys, it's a great bass!
 5.
Gonna bump this for you.
Thanks!
interested in a swap for an iceni boudica custom 5 ? its on the board
Sorry but not interested on any trades... Thanks for the offer anyway!
 6. I have to say that I'm quite happy with the OC-2, it has really served me well. I don't use it that much but it's a great pedal for the price they are selling. For the moment I'll stick with this one.
 7. I can't believe this! Both basses still up for sale.
 8.
Let me know if you decide to bin it - I'd like a broken one to try and turn into a glitchy mess.
Sorry but I'm keeping it for now... even with second octave not working properly I'm still getting a good sound out of it.
 9.
Have you changed your rig at all? My OC-2 seems to do very little with the two-octaves-down knob but I'm putting it through a very average 4x10 so I don't expect to hear much of it.
No I haven't changed anything, still with my Ampeg SVT Classic and 6x10 cab. It used to act differently, now the octave 2 adds nothing to the sound.
 10.
They're so cheap you'd be better off just buying a new one.
That's exactly what I was thinking too... not worth paying for postage + repair.
 11. I'm having some trouble with my Boss Octave OC-2. I have noticed the octave 1 works properly but the octave 2 is not noticeable at all. I tried it with the effect set to maximum and little clean mix and there is only a bit of effect coming through but nothing comparable to the oct.1 mode, hughe difference in volume levels. I always have octave 1 nearly or full on and then add a bit of octave 2 but now, the 2 is not doing anything at all. Any ideas what the problem might be? Do you know of any places I can have it repaired/checked?
 12. Thanks for the comments guys! A few people interested but still both basses up for sale.
 13.
Why not just put the effects between your bass and amp. Then you can send a pre-eq signal to the desk that will include your effects. Chris.
Silly me, it's as easy as that... I don't know why I was all the time thinking about the effects loop. Post Edited.
 14. I was just wondering how you guys do with your effects when playing live and using a PA. Do you send a Balanced Pre or Post Eq signal to the desk? If I'm not mistaking: - When sending a Post EQ signal to the mixing board you are sending your particular tone/sound , the one you get with you amp settings, as well as effects pedals, and it will sound thorugh the PA. - If you are sending a Pre EQ, then it's not affected at all, just your bass and the amp with no EQ. So, I've heard quite a few times that it's always better to send a Pre EQ signal to the desk and I was wondering... what about all the effects we use? I have spent my bucks through the years on a few pedals and I've got the tone I like and that's the one I want people to hear. Here is my doubt right now: I used to own an Ampeg SVT 4Pro and I had the option to choose between Pre and Post Eq but now, I'm using an SVT Classic and there's no effects loop. Is this the way to do it then? BASS> EFFECTS> AMP then Output to DESK
 15. I finally went with the TC Electronic Vintage Bass Distortion and I have to say it's a great pedal but it leans more to fuzzy tones. Excellent to add character and dirt to your tone and then the boost switch to dial in a more distorted sound at the same volume. Now I'm after a Distortion and the tone I've got in mind is the one from the original Marshall Guv'nor. I know with this one you need a blend pedal to add clean signal but I really don't want to ad more pedals to my board. Any ideas about which pedal can give this kind of distortion and keep the bottom end?
 16.
Ok, I give up.Can't spot a price anywhere. How much is the P Bass ?
There wasn't a price anywhere, that's why you couldn't find it Fender P-Bass: £500
 17.
Where are you based? I'm sort-of after a P but I don't think I'd buy a Fender without trying it (due to past experience).
I'm based in Hove, East Sussex. This is a good P bass, well built/finished and with a really good sound... I've also had some bad expriences with Fender instruments in the past, I've played quite a few Precisions and I can confirm this one is not a dog. If I'm not mistaking, it's from 2001.
 18.
me. i am in the american fender precision. but i wont buy inless its in the usa
Sorry but it's in the UK.

 20.
my attitude ltd 1 is pretty neck heavy but i use a 4" wide leather strap which is rough on the underside so pretty grippy so it doesn't bother me too much. peace c
Hey, can you tell me the brand of the strap you are using? I'm having some trouble with my Fender P bass and can't find the right strap that helps with the neck diving. Thanks!
 21. We played The Engine Rooms in Brighton last Saturday. The gig went fine, everything according to plan and all the bands on time. Good atmosphere and quite a few people turned up. We play a 30 minutes set because there was 4 other bands but it was awesome! it was a great gig, people were really into the music, jumping and singing to the songs... At the end of the gig lots of people approached us and told us how good we sound and how much they enjoyed the set. Lots of interest about where we were playing our next gig. The really annoying/upsetting thing is that someone stole a couple of planet waves custom cables and a set of elixir strings from my gig bag! I was around all the time and didn't see anything at all, just went to set up everything for the soundcheck and they were already gone! It could have been worst, like taking the whole gig bag with my '78 Jazz bass or opening one of the other pockets and taking my Sadowsky preamp, Korg floor tuner or EBS Multicomp... Just trying to be a bit positive here but I can tell you, I was really pissed of!!! My only other complain was the sound guy and how rude he was towards everyone...sorry in advance if any of you know this guy but it's the truth. Anyway, apart from having this things stolen, it was a great evening and an awesome gig.
