Up for sale is my Korg DTR2000BL rack mounted tuner. It's in mint condition, I bought it new a few months back and hasn't been used that much...I had it on a rack with my SVT4 Pro but I've moved to an Ampeg SVT Classic and I'm not using it any more. Comes with all the original packaging, power lead, manual... everything that was on the box. This is the top of the range black version and it has built-in downlights to light up the rest of the rack... looks great! More info here: http://www.korg.co.uk/products/tuners/dtr2000/tu_dtr2000.asp Interested? £115 and it's yours.
This is a bass I might be able to get my hands on! Roughly what would you expect to pay for a 1977 Fender Precision with original hard case. Its Black with maple neck? It has a few body knocks, but only minor. And some minor finish crazing. Cheers Ian
Is this bass the one selling on Gumtree? If it's the one, I contacted the seller and it smells fishy to me...I'm not saying it's a scam but read the reply I received from him and judge yourself: I`m curently located in Germany whit some bussines and the item is in ebay custody(England).Ebay have the item in their custody packed, insured and ready for shipping. They will contact you with all the details of this sale (they will send you an invoice ) and with the payment instructions. You will send the payment to one of their agents that is handling our transaction and after that you will send them the payment information so they can verify It. I will have to make you aware of the fact that i don`t know the agent name because they change it in every transaction for security reasons. As soon as they do that the shipping process will start. After you receive the item you will have a 7 day return policy (starting the day you receive te item), in this time you will have to decide if you accept it or not.So please give me your full name and shipping address so i can have them contact you regarding the transaction. Regards

Since I don't use them any more, I'm selling two pickguards for Fender American Precision basses: - Mirror pickguard: In good condition apart from a crack going from the jack to the screw...once jack and screw are fitted is not very visble. - White pickguard: Never used, still with the plastic film and stickers on. Looking for £15 each.
You can't go far wrong with an Alesis SR16. They've been around for a long time now so you should be able to find one second hand. Good sounds and fairly easy to program.

I have a Zoom MRT 3, and its a cinch to use and produces a useful range of drum sounds. Keeps time better than a Swiss watch and is WAY more reliable than a real drummer!

you can't go wrong with the SR16 as mentioned before. i got one for £20 and i think it's probably one of the best machines out there for the price
I have been looking around but cannot find any soundclips of these Drum Machines... is there any chance of you guys posting them? It would be great! Thanks!
This seems pretty similar to what I use and it's finishing in a couple of hours <a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Zoom-B1-bass-effects...1QQcmdZViewItem" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Zoom-B1-bass-effects...1QQcmdZViewItem</a> Chris
Thanks!
I know he has one of his Jazzes strung up in BEAD tuning, so that might be what you have to do...
Spot On! He's been using different Jazz Basses with different tunings and of them was tuned BEAD. Here you have a link with lots of info on Tim's gear... In one of the pics you'll see a Jazz with the neck reversed which he tunes like that.
I would run bass>LS-2>Multicomp>M-80, and in the loop of the LS-2 put OC-2>Bass IQ>CEB-3. Set the LS-2 so you can blend your clean signal with the effects, and you're flying!
Thanks Higgie... Should I run them through the Amp Fx Loop?
-
Well, yes, another pedalchain post... I have been reading through previous posts but I'm getting really mixed up and need some advice, please! Here is all the gear I'm using at the moment: -Ampeg SVT4 Pro - EBS MultiComp - EBS IQ Envelope Filter - MXR M-80 (D.I. + Preamp + Distortion) - Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus - Boss OC-2 Octave Pedal - Boss LS-2 Line Selector Should I use the FX Loop from the amp? What do you think would be the best way to run them? Do I need a Looper or can I use the Line Selector instead? Thanks guys!!!

So that's why the bass body is shaped like that!

I'm with Wil... excellent choice of notes and very, very talented. She is only 21 and not everyone gets to play with all those musicians unless you are good, really good. -
Thanks for the input guys! So if you solo the P pup there's also not humming? And the P bass tone is the same as on a P Bass? What I'm monst atracted to is adding a jazz pup to an existing P bass instead of buying a Hot rod or PJ bass but, since I'm not a very handy person, do you know how much would cost me to have a Jazz pickup profesionally installed by a luthier?
-
I have just been thinking on going down the Fender P bass route, and in fact, I'm ready to go for it, but I'm also considering the possibility of a PJ: - Fender Hot Rod - Fender P Bass and ad the J pickup. Since I haven't had the chance to try any of them I wanted to ask, to all of you that own or have tried them, what's your opinion on these basses. On the Hot Rod, the P pickup is in the same position as it's on a P Bass? One thing I'm not sure about it's that if when soloing any of the pickups you also get the humming noise, similar to the one it happens on the Jazz bass? Thanks!
