  1. Ah, yes - Mine were the longer shafted Lollipops👍👍
  2. My ‘68 had Lollipop tuners👍
  3. Around 90 miles away from me, so at my age I would need to purchase one of these first…..
  4. Not forgetting 17. Mustang Bass😃👍
  5. Nicely finished rear of neck example if anyone fancied trying one👍👍 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/267085713988?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=cTV5a5DbRkO&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=PjFQ1zqpS7C&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  6. It’s from this Chap on eBay, I think he’s named Brian & highly recommended👍👍
  7. Even better than expected, high quality craftsmanship & fits even better than the original! Fender etc could learn a few things from Brian, especially how to produce a lovely oldie worldy opalescent pattern👍👍
  8. I had a very old set of La Bella Black Nylon short scale tape wounds which fitted a treat & sound great👍 Will post pics when I’ve fitted the pick guard👍👍
  9. I bought one for noodling purposes & thinking that they are cheap enough so that if need be upgrading the tuners, pickups & bridge wouldn’t break the bank. However, although l can only comment on the one I have as I know build quality can vary across the same range, but it is incredible! Arrow straight neck, holds tune perfectly, spot on intonation with just small adjustments to the bridge & Truss Rod, plus less high frets levelled than on some Basses I’ve owned which cost ten times the price, which then afforded a really low, playable action & it sounds like a P Bass should - Fab👍👍 So not needing to buy any replacement hardware, I’ve treated my self to a Vintage Dark Tort pick guard, which I’m eagerly awaiting to arrive. It also fits easily into a guitar Gig Bag - Boomshanka😃👍👍
  10. Lee bought my headless bass, he’s a lovely Chap with excellent communication skills, an absolute pleasure to deal with & very highly recommended to all BC’ers👍👍 Thanks again Lee.
  11. Bought a Gig Bag from Neil & as usual he was a pleasure to deal with. Excellent communication, plus superb packaging & fast despatch he is a credit to Basschat. Thank you Neil👍👍
  12. Thanks👍👍 The Gig bag came with the Jack when I bought it & I’ve not come across them before? No idea how old it is, but it’s really good quality.
  13. John very kindly made me a passive Loom for my Jack Bass and after asking what type of sound I preferred, supplied a superb alternative to replace the original active circuitry. It was so easy to fit, even for an old Duffer like me & sounds incredible - Outstanding! Thanks again John, very much appreciated.
