  1. Yes, those were the days - 'Summer is a Bummer' - Aguilar?? - Phwoar !! As Bing & Bob sang - 'Thanks For The Memory'
  2. Yes Rik - Tee - Hee
  3. Boomshanka !! Thank you - very much appreciated - ta
  4. Thanks Kev, Very much appreciated, that's exactly what I was hoping to hear as I have Boss Bass GEB7 - if I needed a bit more depth ''Fab''
  5. Hi Chaps and Chapesses, Can anyone give me their opinion on their experiences of the above combo please ? Is it possible to obtain a deep, warm, rich bass tone, only at low volumes and obviously not in a gigging environment - but just for home and studio use?? Thanking you in advance for your help and opinions Cheers, Tim
  6. John bought my amp and I can say that without fear of contraception - he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I would recommend him to all on here - Great Guy, great deal - thank you again John Tim

Mattie and his kind good Lady battled through a torrential storm to meet up for a deal : He is great Guy, an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone - deal with confidence Guys you will not be disappointed Thanks again Mattie - you are one of the very best Tim
  9. Bought recently from this very Parish - but way too sophisticated for my old cloth ears It is in absolutely Mint condition and comes complete with the dedicated padded Gig bag and mains lead. Here's the Blurb :- Sometimes all you need is an amp that can deliver true bass tones but without the hassle of getting out a big rig amplifier. The Bass Cub is 100 watts of pure tone in a “shoebox” size package and so light, it can be lifted even with a finger! It can sit on the floor or on top of a desk. Two independent channels can accept two instruments or one microphone. It also has a stereo input for Drum machine or I-pod/MP3 player. Practicing can be done with the 2 internal speakers or headphones. The BASS CUB comes with a padded carrying bag. With these features and great sound there is no longer an excuse you can not practice. Here's the spec :- Two independent channels can accept two instruments or one microphone. Aux in - with independent volume control 100 watts Switchable Hight / Low input Two 3-band EQ Optical Limiter Headphone Output Tuner Output Pre-amp Line Output Balanced Line Output Two Internal 5-inch Proprietary PJPS Speakers Dimensions: 12 x 10.8 x 7.8 inch (W x D x H) Weighs only 13.2 lbs / 6kg AC Voltage: 100 – 240 Volt / 50 – 60Hz The thing I really liked about this beauty is the two channels - as it doubles up very nicely as an electro acoustic guitar combo - my baby Martin sounded incredible through this and it is small enough to use in the living room, or bedroom as a high quality unit to play your iPod or CD through Just a word about the build quality of this combo - 'incredible' !! - I have seen nothing to compare to the quality of this over the last 40 + years and I've owned, or at least played through virtually everything - umpteen times over Re gigging - despite being rated at 100w - I personally don't think it is loud enough, apart from for the quietest of acoustic Gigs, but with a powered cabinet - the world is your Lobster Can post to UK Mainland at buyers expense - payment via Bank Transrer, or Paypal gift. ps - check this link out :- http://youtu.be/pRMH3a0TV44
  10. Yes, no problem - thanks

  13. Peter is a great Guy, an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would heartily recommend him to anyone He bought my Warwick 'shorty' Corvette and as it was very much loved, I am cock - a - hoop that it has gone to such a good home Thanks again Peter Tim
  14. Rockbass Corvette Active Bass Guitar, which is not much bigger than a regular electric guitar - in fact it actually just fits into a normal Gibson guitar Gig Bag!! In exceptional condition - can't find any scratches, or dings anywhere - albeit with my very old eyes and it's a 2014 model. Low action - all the way up the neck + low weight together with the short scale makes this Bass an absolute dream to play. In fact, it is by a country mile the easiest, most comfortable Bass I have ever played during the past 40 + years and the build quality and finish are second to none. The best on line price for these - if you can find one - is around the £600 mark - however, this is a one off 'Special' - fitted with all black genuine Warwick hardware and so would therefore cost a lot more!! Although this is a shortscale bass, it does not feel cramped when playing, but it is so comfortable to play at the low end, plus normal length strings can be used. The array of sounds available are quite incredible and having active bass and active treble 'on board' saves having to keep adjusting your amp Specs as follows:- Solid Alder Body Maple Neck - 30 / 3/4" Scale Length Rosewood fingerboard - Double Octave - 24 frets Master Volume control Pick up Pan Pot Active MEC J + J Pickups Active Treble cut or boost Active Bass cut or boost Highly acclaimed Warwick 'Just A Nut' III - Fully adjustable nut Genuine Warwick Black Strap Locks Quick release - no screws to undue - control panel cover Weight is just 3.5kg or 7.7lbs Comes complete with Truss Rod Tool and owners manual. Can post via Parcelforce48 for £30 to UK Mainland or you are welcome to pay via cash on collection. If you are close enough Very reluctant sale due to impending car expenses

  18. Tiny footprint, huge sound - few small marks - see pics - everything working as it should & actually DOES fit it the accessory pocket of my Bass Guitar Gig bag 140w at 8 ohms / 200w at 4 ohms. Contour switch, aux. In / headphones out and does not need to be connected to a cab to use - so fab for practising, combined Speakon / 1/4" Speaker Jack, Line out with Pre/ Post EQ switch. - 10db switch for active basses + whisper quiet variable speed cooling fan - let's face it - it's the Tardis of Bass Amps !!
