Still the best of the best small, lightweight Bass cabs - in my very humble opinion of course and rarer than a very rare thing Wonderful deep electric bass sound, with smooth mids and as much top end you will ever need due to the Ultra high quality horn. Plus, as I'm sure you know, just the very best acoustic bass sound - ever. Deep, throaty, feathery, dry faithful reproduction of those very hard to play large uprighty - type instruments I think that the lovely warm, rich sound from these is partly due to them being an extra inch or so deeper than many of the current mini marvels, which being a cloth eared old bint - (in my dotage) always seem a bit mid biased?? - again, in my very humble opinion of course. Loud at 8 ohms and goes very loud at 4 ohms. Here are those Specs we all love ... 300 watts at 4 ohms. Frequency Response - 10Hz to 20KHz Eden 'Golden Chip' equipped. On board defeatable Limiter Incredible E.Q. section with a vast array of sounds. Light as you like at 4.3lbs or 1.95Kg - for the newer Fellas Controllable D.I. out. In my very humble opinion, one of the most underrated basses on the planet and it's hard to imagine anything as good value as these old Hohners:) I have a passive, headless jobbie that is my "go to" bass and I wouldn't swap it for a gold pig GLWTS

Thanks Guys - 'two' of these must sound awesome Gareth, as the UL112 with my UL110 sounds phenomenal !! - think I need a bigger car I did have another UL110 a couple of years back and let it go in the end - only because 'I' couldn't find another one either Paul - ahhhhh Thanks Kev, yes, she's a minter and just sounds so sweet - being very much of 'The Old School - Rear Guard' - oo - er missus I'm not a great fan of 'middle' and always found it easy to dial in, but a bugger to reduce, or to get rid of in some venues But I know I'm in a minority on this, being a Graphic Smiley Face type Old Fossil and 'the newer fellas' seem to thrive on it and still sound great, so it must be 'me'!! Serious bargain alert !! These cabs are £599 new - 'each'!! Can't recommend them highly enough - tiny stage footprint, smooth vast frequency range - in fact they are also fantastic as PA cabs, Keyboard, guitar, upright and you should hear a CD, mp3 or Ipod etc through them - so Hi Fi esque!! They are great alone, but as a pair, drawing the maximum power from most amps running at 4ohms they are sublime!! The spring loaded handles can be obtained from EBS in a matter of days for around £15 - delivered and take around five minutes to change. Someone is going to be a very happy bunny !! GLWTS

Yamaha build quality - Low action - lightweight at just a smidge over 7.5lbs - easy to play due to the lines extending over the sides of the fingerboard and side dots 'inbetween' the lines so if you are only used to normal fretted instruments, this is not unfamiliar when you look down and even a cloth eared old bint like me can play in tune !! In very good used condition, with just a few marks associated with normal use. Solid Alder body and maple neck with a beautiful grained rosewood fingerboard. Controls are volume, volume master tone and has a wide range of sounds including the much loved mwoar tone. Two very powerful Yamaha pickups and is all original with no modifications. If I''m reading the serial number correctly, I believe it is a 2002 model. Comes complete with a ROK SAK padded Gig Bag. Can post at cost if you are far away, if not come and have a go, you will love it
