Great Christmas present for your budding Bass player, or to yourself of course. This is the Flat Walnut finish, which is the only version that has the cool black hardware. Lightweight at a tad under 3kg, or a shade over 6.5 lbs in ‘old money’ - so makes a great Travel, or noodling on the settee Bass. Low action all the way up the neck, no sharp frets and plays really well. Powerful pickups and VVT layout. Nice newish Flat wounds fitted and original Ibanez round wound strings included + Gig Bag. Can post via Parcelforce 24 hour, fully insured for £15 to the U.K. Mainland only - sorry.

**ON HOLD** MarkBass MiniMark 802 - *SOLD*
dodgnofski replied to dodgnofski's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Hi Martin, Thank you for your interest. Although l think they both have the same power amp, the 802 has a slightly lager enclosure & Bass port plus larger speakers so moves more air. Although the 602 is great for home, studio, acoustic or small Jazz gigs, comparing the two - I would feel happier using the 802 for small Pub Gigs as it seems to have a bit more headroom than the 602 has. Hard to tell a great difference in tone between the two apart from the 802 produces more bottom end than the 602, which is probably down to the physics of a larger enclosure and larger speakers. The newer MB 8” Neodymium speakers in the 802 arguably appear to be a tad stiffer / more ‘rugged’ than the B&C speakers in the 602, which arguably gives a bit more cut through in the mix - in my humble opinion of course. No problem posting to the Sunny Isle of White👍 All the best, Tim -

The seller had two listings running at the same time - one at £5,700 & one at £7,000? I asked a few questions and he was very unfriendly, actually saying that he thought I was a ‘scammer’!! When I asked the history of the P he said he had used it with Count Basie, Dionne Warwick, 10cc and AC/DC😂😂!!

Has anyone ever seen an ‘extra’ screw in the pick guard on a ‘60’s P Bass - in line with the tug bar screws? Seller claims he has had the Bass from new. The only thing I can think of is that it was added to correct warping maybe? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225146957462?

Thanks Marc, these are arguably - in my humble opinion of course - the best compact cab with such a small stage footprint available & if I was still Gigging not only would I be keeping it, but I'd save up for a second one for the ultimate vertically stacked Rig in town. I've replaced it with an 802 Combo from Happypants, which I can stack my 602 Combo on and have a 'mini version' now I don't need the volume the 102p gives out 😎😎👍👍
