    I can never play eye of the tiger correctly. When the riff comes second time, I always miss it. Mental block. That and the bass to 'go your own way'. Stuff like Bach I find easy. We is all different.

    Aaaaah fretw*** as my wife calls it. Being playing guitar for a few whiles but just started bass. I see he's playing free strokes but that's to achieve the pop innit? If you play scales, do you play free or rest strokes? Maybe it doesn't really matter.

    What is double thumbing????! So if I'm playing an i m i m i m i m type thing, on the same string on a bass, I should use free strokes? What about a three finger gallop? This is turning into an up Pompeii routine. Cheers!

    Some bloke in the pub was trying to explain how pianos are tuned out of tune with the frequencies. Something to do with how the human ear hears stuff at the top end. Weird.
