1. Count me in.
  2. Go on mate, treat ya self! BTW will look at sensible cash offers.
  3. Hello mate, thought you might be interested in music tech's special this month http://www.musictechmag.co.uk/mtm/focus Ableton is great, much quicker/more artistic friendly than cubase. Really nice way to work in my opinion.
  4. People of the low end, to fund my dirty GAS habbit I am selling my Bass Trainer. It's been my main practice set up for a couple of years, really great for transcribing. It's in good condition and comes with the proper tascam mains adaptor. How does £45 sound? Lee
  5.
Randy Jackson used one to record his bass parts on an album (Can't remember which now, might have been Janet Jackson?) before the bass version came out!
Yeah it's actually not bad for bass.
  6.
Does the rack come with the PCI card and necessary connecting leads etc?
Yeah the lot mate, it's all ready to go.

    POD X3 Live

Alright people of the low end, I'm just about to order an X3 live, any one tried one yet? Lee
  8. Got one of these going spare: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/dec99/articles/digi001.htm Yes a Digi 003r is better, but I only want £65 for this (digi 003r is currently £800, my mate paid £700 for this a couple of years ago). It's in as new condition, no box comes with Le. These units are great for getting in to protools cheap and I can think of a Uni that still uses them. BTW has 8 analogue in's and a further 8 via ADAT ligh pipe (find a knackard black face ADAT for £50 and use it for it's A/D converters, you'd have a super cheap 16 channel set up). Again £65 + shipping Lee
  9. Just about to order an X3 live so this has to go, good condition. £55 + shipping Lee
  10. Hello mate, I'm based in Leicester teaching for part of the week. PM me and I should be able to sort something out for you. Lee
  11. Lots of pm's guy's, but no buyers yet
  12.
I think this thread needs pics of that amp setup

I've played that amp setup, it was vicious.
Yeah you both have, I'll try and sort some pic's out asap.
  13.
I used a DB728 & 680 with a pair of GS410's as my main Rig for about 4 months...... See Avatar) for sure the best bass tone on the planet ! But the Weight !?! That 728 made an Ampeg SVT seem like a lightweight solution !! Mine Went to a Guy in Italy for a stupidly low price, wished I'd hung on to it Mark
I wish I had brought it, but couldnt justify two identical rigs then! But now.....hummmm
  14. BassBod supplied me with a plathora of MIT bass cables, great guy and great cables. Highly recommended.
  15.
Nice to see you still have that fretted, glad you didn't sell it now Lee-man? I'm gutted you changed your mind about that, it's a really nice bass.
Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. It's now my main gigging bass and sounds ace with Sadowsky stainless strings.
  16.
I have been surfing the internet too long. I can tell the fretted bass came from Electromusic and the fretless from BassNW just from the pics! I'll get me coat... PS Nice basses.
You sado.......but I'm the same! It's a sickness
  17.
Seriously nice stuff - you don't see the blue/tort combination very often. You need a nice pricey cable mate....don't want to miss anything BB
SMOOVE sales there BB!
  18. still avalible guy's.
  19.
Id be quite interested in the Levys one. The pair if i have to. Do you have a pic of the back of it? Im looking for something thinnish and one that doest sit too high up. I have a very basic Levys one thats perfect but im after another. Its not the same as yours but i think your would be fine. just want to check how high the straps go. I assume they will take a P bass? Cheers.
Sorry mate these are now sold. Lee
  20.
Two beauties ! A few questions - are those Nordies on the fretted bass - if so - what do they sound like and can you readily switch between humbucking and single coil on both pickups? Finally, who did your epoxy job on the fretless ? Cheers Bill
The pickups are actually Aero's (as fitted to Foderas) and it's an Aguilar 3 band pre. Sounds wicked. The epoxy on the fretless was done by Sadowsky as an option. Lee
  21.
Great looking basses and with the amplification, that's some serious bass gear in the pictures!!! Are you the proud owner of it all?
Not my gear in the pics. My current rigs are: Aguilar DB680 Aguilar DB728 Aguilar AG500 2x Aguilar GS410 Soon to be augmented with a DB750 as well. Lee
  22.
I might take that neck, if you can give me sizes for the heel including spacing between screw holes. It has to fit on a Squier Std Strat body. Do you have the neckplate/screws/missing bit of the locking nut? Cheers
The heal is 5.7 cm wide and 7.7cm long. Distance between the screws (from centre of screw) is 5cm and 3.6 cm ish. The back plate and screws are provided. No locking nut though, but I do have a full floyd rose going cheap and just checked that it will fit. See my other thread for some other guitar goodies. Here's a pic of the diecast back plate.
