1. I have two NYC Sadowsky's and just sold my Valenti to ShaunB. All are excellent basses, but you can't compair NYC Sadowsky's and Valenti's. A better comparison would be Sadowsky Metro's and Valenti's. NYC Sadowsky's are a whole new level. However it is worth baring in mind that law of diminishing returns comes in to play with basses at this level (i.e. you pay twice as much for something only 10% better, but what a great 10% )
2.
I've played this rig and Man of man I want it but oddly he turned down my offer of a shiny button and a half eaten mars bar. I will be sending my management in the aguilar direction when it comes time to sort endorsements
You mentioned nothing about a half eaten mars bar!
3. Yeah I have a DB680 + DB728. It was the DB728 that convinced me to order the DB680. If I remember at one point the DB728 was more like the thick end of £3K.
4. Rich, another Sadowsky eh? You should pop over and try my fretless one.
5.
And if your auntie had balls...etc !! You'd be correct Lee! I'd love to see a picture of that Sadowsky. How do you like the pickups? I love 'em! Might get similar ones in the forthcoming Shuker, still trying to decide.
I think they are great, got another Sadowsky with Sadowsky electrics in an that sounds great, this one has Aeros and an Aguilar 3 band eq.
6. Also featuring the amazing 'Fighting Cocks' (who are so much better than their name sugests!).
7. I think I played this at The bass merchant? If so I really liked it, got the same pickups in my Sadowsky
8. I have a DB728 and a DB680 in one flight case, good luck trying to move two of them!
9. We've just got one of these at work, you can use it like an external drive, so if you drag the wav file on to your desk top it should work with most good DAW software. Ableton live is great for creating live loops ect, but Cubase is a better all rounder. I've also used the h4 files on both Protools and Logic 8 (which is fantastic, so much better than prev versions). BTW I think the H4 would be a must have peice of gear if you could use the internal stereo mic + the 2 line inputs at the same time to record to 4 tracks, imagine what you could do at live gigs!
10. Hey Jamie, hows it going? My amp guy is AMAZING, does wonders with my Aguilar valve set up, he's based in Milton Keynes, but well worth the visit. PM me if you want his details. Lee
11. Bump, would consider an offer, go on try me

18. Hello guy's, it pains me to do this, but the car is knackard and I need the cash quick. I purchased this early 90's Stingray many moons ago brand new from the Bass Centre. It's in fantastic condition. I'm looking for a quick sale hence £725.

Valenti

Glad you like it mate. Was playing with Roddy Radiation from the Specials at the weekend.......he reckons I'm mad for parting with it, I reckon he's right!
20. As per the title, let me know what you think of me. Lee
21. Oh by the way the Valenti is fitted with a VTC (vintage tone control, see Sadowsky's website for more info as it's the same as theirs) and the pre amp is an 18v system giving excellent head room.
22. The Paulman ones come with one as standard, how ever I'll take some photos as it looks like standard drum hardware bits to me.
23. My EUB uses a cymbal stand
