I used to have a Korean black one, and also a German in Bubinga. The fancy wood on the German was stunning, but soundwise they were very similar. If this one was fretless, I'd be after it, very nice basses indeed. GLWTS! -
Nice bass! I bought my L2 in -81. After a year, the legrest broke, so I wrote Ned Steinberger a letter (!) and after a couple of weeks there was a new one in my postbox , free of charge. A fantastic sounding bass and an exceptionally reliable work horse. Glwts -

The JP Lucii arrived at my door today after leaving Tony's area yesterday...and it was very very well packed. Beautiful bass, very versatile and nice sound. It's staying with me for sure. Wonderfull experience dealing with Tony, very responsive and knowledgeable about all the paperwork needed to Norway (outside EU) and of course trustable. Payed upfront with no worries, just good feelings. Now; time to play the beauty. Thanks Tony!
