Stunning bass bud, Love Chris larkins work!

Try cutting the second row of para Eq, less is more. The Thunderfunk site helps alot with understanding the way the para Eq works, http://www.thunderfunk.com/downloads/Thund...39;s_Manual.pdf Page 6 Cheers, Robbie.

Looking sweet Alan, speak soon.

Indeed share the TFunk Love, the best thing on these amps is the simple setup. Most of the time you can just keep it all at 12 and tweak the timbre and enhance knobs. And cut the mids for that Slaptastic sound.

Hi Pete, Thanks for the interest basses, I got the Linear bearing track and slide rail units from my old work place. Units like this wouldn't be cheap, Ive still got to mount the routers on the Ali plates. Hoping it will work well for me, gonna be in the workshop today working on the basses. Cheers, Robbie.

Avalon U5 DI/Pre amp - Brand Spanking New!
RIM Basses replied to Vipa's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
I just got back from NY and I was going to buy one from BH Audio at $ 585 dollars, I feel alittle gutted that I didn't get one again. Im sure this will be snapped up soon. I just couldn't see why I needed one with the thunderfunk, but they are truely the best DI preamp boxes on the market. Thru a nice poweramp they rock on tone preset 2! Bump this all the way home! Robbie. -
Liking the tone woods on this one, it will be a sweet bass for sure.

Check otu Watford valves, I believe he has some BL's in stock. Cheers, Robbie.

The warmoth bodies and neck are good quality, my last Jazz bass had a black korina warmoth body and Status Graphite neck. With the exchange rate as good as it is, you should order the body, neck and maybe some of the hardware stuff. Ive sold the status neck but still have the J bass body, gonna get it fitted to a mighty mite maple neck soon. Enjoy the build, Cheers, Robbie.

Villex passive rotary booster review
RIM Basses replied to GreeneKing's topic in Hardware & Accessories
I ordered a Villex tone booster and a set of Villex jazz pickups from Tigran a few months back, looking to fit them in the first RIM Jazz Bass that I will be starting early next year, so Ped if you want to try them out once the bass is finished mate I bring it round yours. Tigran, I haven't forgot bud just been so busy this year. Cheers, Robbie. -
Great new matty, so you got yourself a new job bud.I look forward to hear from you bud. And Ped mate, I told her about the event and she said " Do you want to go, we can wait outside so you can get some autographs" shes clever enough to know if I step foot in the place she wont see me again. Nevermind who wants to see Stanley Clake anyway, yeah right! And the car is doing great guns, shes been lowered now 3 inches all round and my mate Jon is fitting the new Simonz sports exhaust while Im in NY. Cheers guys, I'll bring some pics back of the Big Apple. Robbie.

Hi All, Cheers for the comments Steve mate! Just to update on the bass, well mostly on the new workshop which is being finished off. Ive got to make my benches and get all the machines fitted in. I'll post some pics once its finished, the basses Im working on will be stored safely away in the house till the workshops ready. Looking forward to getting Alex's bass finished. I will be off to New York Saturday for our Aniversary, question is should I take the wife to bass Player Live? Something tells me she wont be interested. Cheers, Robbie.
