Just booked tickets for Behemoth (in Feb next year)
-
Iron Monkey at The Ruby Lounge. Really great show.
-
Blood Red Throne at Hammerfest. Awesome live show. Great musicians.
-
Ooh. My missus has an OCD clone somewhere. I will have to give it a whirl. Nice demo by the way.
-
I bought it as an alternative to the Vox Amplug. I was not expecting much to be honest, as I remember my brother having a guitar zoom in the early 2000s. It was horrible. This is good though.
-
I bought one last week for use as a headphone amp and practice tool. I'm finding the drums/rhythms very useful. Excellent value for money.
-
Bought a Thomann one. It's not half bad. The colour is awful but looks like it will do the job until I buy a Fusion double gig bag.
-
I've been lurking for awhile, and have posted in a few threads, but figured I'd be polite and introduce myself.

I'm 38, have played bass since I was 14, but concentrated on drums from age 20 to last year. I played drums in black metal bands generally. My bass playing is pretty metal influenced too; I like sludgy, heavy grooves generally. I had sold most of my gear to fund drums (SWR Workingman head, Peavey 1x15black widow cab and some basses) so I had to buy new stuff recently! Basses - Charvette by Charvel 4 string (my 1st bass), Active EMG pickups, EpiphoneToby Deluxe Amp - Tech 21 VT Bass 500, TC Electronic K212 cab Pedals - Dunlop Cry Baby Wah, EHX Bass Deluxe Big Muff, Way Huge Swollen Pickle, Tom'sLine Tuner. Danelectro Fabtone distortion (the old burgundy one!). Little Bear Wooly Mammoth clone on its way to me in the post too. I am thinking of picking up a Harley Benton fretless for a bit of cheap fun. I miss my Status fretless

I just ordered a Little Bear Mammoth Wooly fuzz. Hopefully will play nice with my other pedals.
-
I just checked out a review of The Moosapotamus 360 fuzz!!!!! Holy mother of god!!! Want! Want ! Want! I want a Wooly Mammoth, but will probably end up with a clone. Can't justify such stupid money for an essentially one trick pedal.

1st. Bass Pedal from Way Huge! Pork & Pickle OD/Fuzz

Watching the demo, it seems more my kind of thing than either my Deluxe Bass Big Muff or Swollen Pickle. I really like how filthy it sounds. -

This thread has got me scouring the web for a ZVEX Wooly Mammoth clone!!! -

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332562140349 £45 plus a fiver shipping. Oops. Wrong thread.

They arrived. Wow. Talk about value for money! The rhythms are awesome, lots of useable sounds, an accurate tuner, and not as fragile as I thought. Still not going on a pedal board, but awesome for its purpose.

I saw this. I just blew the money I had saved towards a Boss bass chorus on a Zoom B1on. Not in the same league but thwre are some nice toys on there; it's for home practice, not live though. I will have to buy a dedicated chorus at some point. I saw an Eden for £55 on eBay yesterday.
-
And I bought some headphones. Sennheiser HD206. 😐
-
Iron Monkey, in manchester on April 21st. Tickets were an Xmas gift from my partner. Iron Monkey is one of my favourite bands.
-
And to think that yesterday, I was only after a chorus pedal for live use. I do t think the zoom would survive long under my feet.
-
How do you power Yours? I didn't buy the power adaptor. Will use rechargeable AA enloop batteries when I have to , but can I use other types of power adaptors? Thanks
-
Oops. Just bought a Zoom B1on from Amazon. £45!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!? I was after a headphone amp for when I'm travelling, but figured for an extra tenner, I could get a tuner, looper, amp sim, drum beats etc. It's not going to be used on stage. I have a dedicated bunch of pedals for that. It will be just for home use via headphones. Anyone else have one?

I was very interested in the Pedal, but just checked my bank accounts it's a no go before Friday (payday).i overspent in bits to build a diy pedalboard this week I don't want to mess you around so I will message you on Friday to see what's what. If i have the spare funds, I would like to buy the pedal. -
I have no issues using any of the 6 or so fuzz, overdrive or distortion pedals with my active basses. Obviously, your mileage may vary. They are all 9v basses though.
