  1. Here it is with Kent Armstrong pup in parallel (with option to add switch for series/parallel), ive shielded everything and added labella tapes 50-105s - it plays itself. So smooth and as I play really light the action is super low. Can’t wait to get it in rehearsals
  2. Hofner violin bass that has been relic’d with that horrible high gloss taken back, finished with light nitro. Comes with fitted hard case and beatle bass flats - super low action and huge thumpy goodness bought for a project that didn’t happen. Gassing for another semi chickenbacker as don’t have have £s for a 4005 Weight as you can imagine is very light. Neck is a good chunk in the hand. Very punchy. Preferred tone for me is solo on, bass on treble off - a Mecca to Macca £20 to ship to UK
  3. I had a Bruce Thomas bass - if my 63 reissue hadnt popped up i'd still have it - awesome basses - what a neck on that one - got tapes on my acoustic and think the low tension will suit this neck on the Rushbo Fedner
  4. it's a nat's whisker under what my 63 P nut width 42mm but flatter profile and satin so very smooth to play
  5. yes the oiled finish is nice that's what caught my eye first- that and that pup in a P is which i pulled the trigger that and it was a super price sir - think it'll be a bit of a project too - there's a couple fo things i might swap possibly - hope you don't mind i might remove the neck decal but i like the Rushbo Custom Shop one - nice touch - gonna get some tapewounds for this
  6. Now it’s mine. Nice job Rushbo. Lovely neck feel. Might tinker a bit myself - but for now will get used to it.
  7. Cor blimey! If Fender made this as a regular fretted P they could have my money - while typing this my brain is saying buy this and put a fretted neck back on it - whilst the wallet part of my brain is shouting no haha glwts
  8. great stuff - he sounds and looks just like him - shared with my Mum as she's Elvis nuts - what bass are you playing sounds great - Pino?

  10. Perfect thanks for your help!
  11. Thanks K so this goes to tone pot ? Sorry I’m a bit dim but it dies seem that there’s some solder there without a wire attached
  12. I think your right - if white wire goes to left of tone pot
  13. The white wire is extra to this diagram and tbh I’m not sure it was attached 😞
  14. Cheers everyone more pics if it helps
  15. Had to fix a loose pot shaft (my fault trying to get old plastic witches at knob off) my god that was frustrating putting it back together- but ground and white wire from pick up have come loose I assume. Got soldering iron but not sure where to reattach them please help an idiot in distress

  17. Sure thing Bass Stack - brand new fender gig bag
  18. Howdy yes still for sale so far
  19. Strawberry and cream! NBD: 99 CIJ PB62 - neck on Bruce Thomas is better, just nicer and faster and the pups are hotter - 62 in dire need of a set up - also flats - but once set up it’s got mojo!
  20. Cheers Tom will send tracking when I post - enjoy NBD!
  21. Bass sounded awesome in rehearsal last night - it's typical isnt it - just when you buy another bass - your old bass sounds killer then you think - i need 2 P basses - one with flats and one with rounds! Think this is due to Markbass amp finally breaking in - was just a joy to be groovin
  22. Rehearsal tonight - think I’ve found it - sounded great, really enjoyed playing - also NBD Friday so really looking forward to rehearsing again
