Painfully hilarious. It IS a spoof isn't it?

I bought a cream scratchplate for my fiesta red Squier Classic Vibe P - Fitted perfectly but the top surface has started to lift/wrinkle after a really short time. (It's not the protective cellophane before you ask!😄) Admittedly it wasn't expensive (£15 IIRC) so I can't expect top quality but I did expect it to stay in one piece. Anyway, the tort one is back on. If I buy another aftermarket scratchplate in the future I think I'll pay a bit more in the hope of better quality. Steve.

+1 to the Japanese-made Fenders. I'm seriously thinking of purchasing one of the 'Midnight' black-and-gold P basses. They really do look the business... Anyone had experience of them?

I was at Rush's gig at the NEC Birmingham on the 'Show of Hands' video. I think it was the 'Hold Your Fire' tour. Great gig it was too.

Totally agree - this one one of my favourite Nik Kershaw tracks and Mr King sounds like he's really into the session and giving it his all. I know he gets criticized by some for overplaying but he gets it spot-on for this track IMO. I usually attempt to play along to everything i hear but I've never got close to playing this track right. L42's 'good man in a storm' is another great example of Mark's playing and a bassline I CAN play lol. Steve
