I just want to know if any BC member has actually won his fantastic bass giveaway.

I have indeed considered this in the past, but the reality is that each year I may have new basses while I'm in the UK. Some of them are purchased in the UK, while others are custom-made and shipped to the UK after completion... Another issue is that every time I return to the UK, I often go to new accommodation - I haven't found a suitable place for long-term rent yet, so sometimes I move to a shared house and sometimes to a student flat. So when I leave the UK, I either have to store those belongings for several months(Which may cost more than the shipping fee and tax), or take them all back home with me.

It seems like they don't offer a service to deliver from my doorstep in Cardiff to the airport terminal. I guess I need to contact them and inquire about it.

Oh, I think this could be the best option. I found that there are indeed shuttle buses to the airport. I can ask the bus company to see if I can get a baggage cart right after getting off the bus. Even if I purchase an extra ticket for the bass, it would still be little cheaper than buying a train ticket to London!

Oh, The adivse to this question might determine whether my next custom bass will be a short-scale detachable travel bass or an archtop....

So I already know how to fly with a bass, but the problem often arises when I need to take international flights from London. It's quite a challenge to travel with a large suitcase, a bass hard case, and a small carry-on case on the train to London. As an international student, I don't have the time to get a driver's license and rent a car. In the past, when I had to return to my home country, I would usually ship my bass ahead of time. This not only incurs high shipping costs but also taxes - yes, I have to pay taxes multiple times for the same bass, even though it's been in my possession for many years. So, I'm wondering if there are any companies that offer a service to ship and store my bass at Heathrow Airport? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Who's good for couriering basses at the moment?

All of my recent bass purchases have been shipped by Parcelforce. Although they all arrived safely, but as a receiver, not being able to track when they arrive at your doorstep in real time is painful. -
Ns Design WAV Omni bass with a (maybe French?) bow Body& Neck: Maple Fretboard: looks like rosewood Tunning is BEADG BOOMERANG STRAP SYSTEM Gig bag Bow and resin *A little chip on the bottom. Well, it's a Tuesday night, I'm scrolling through YouTube, and I stumble upon a series of double bass videos. The deep, rich tones, the elegant players, the sheer majesty of the instrument - it was a siren's call. Before I knew it, I was on eBay, and an NS Design Omni Wav Bass was on its way to my doorstep. But, you see, my friend... I've never played a double bass or even a fretless, my fingers, so used to the familiar frets and strings of my bass guitar, were lost on this new instrument...The cold reality of my impulsive purchase hit me like a slap in the face (or should I say, a slap on the bass?). The price was so low because that was the price I got from eBay. The price is 350 collection in Cardiff only.

Thank you all so much for your interest in this matter, you have made me feel the warmth and human touch of this community! I have now contacted the shop and the shop is willing to withhold the sale of bass for the time being until the police have completed their investigation. As for the police, a officer asked me to report to the national fraud and cyber crime unit and re contacted him again, which I already done. I hope to be contacted by the police again in the near future. Thanks again for all your help and I hope we can get a good result!

This is a Moon that I bought directly from Japan and according to the seller it is a custom order, I did some research myself and I think it is correct as it is rare to see a MBC-6 with a neck though in this colour. The blue colour looks different in the presence and absence of sunlight, when there is not enough light it looks more like dark blue. Mahogany body core, Flame maple top and back Wenge and maple neck, ebony fretboard The pickup is Bartolini with XTCT+MCT375 preamp String spacing is 17mm Weight is close to 5kg or just 5kg. The crack in the neck area should only on the finish and not reach the wood, it does not affect the playing and sound. The action right now is very low, the truss rod I tried still turns easily, but I didn't make any major adjustments because I don't know how to set a bass... Audio or video recording is available, if interested please pm me directly The reason for selling is that I find the 6-string still not manageable for me... The current price for a brand new custom one seems to be around £3600 WITHOUT shipping and VAT, I think this is a great opportunity if you are interested in the moon flagship model The price is 1350+shipping Now available part trade with apollo solo or twin USB version Scam Warning!!! My Moon bass was just stolen from Facebook marketplace today A man meet me and used a fake AIB bank app to transfer money to me and I let him take the bass. I'm not sure what needs to be done with a post, but let's just want to make a warning
