  1. Ah..... in that case this is probably the best combo out there, they are truely awesome, warm, punchy and loud. that 4 Ohms means you get the full 300 watts into that georgeous 15 inch speaker too, and if for some reason you did want to add an extension cab, these babies will go down to 2 Ohms easily enough...👍🏻
  2. I have the 15 inch speaker version which is simply awsome, this would be great for those smaller gigs...... mmmmmmmm
  3. One of the sweetest sounding combos ever made, just beautifull.
  4. gigged this at the weekend, and whilst it has immense power and portability, it doesn’t do the smooth groove which my walkabout gives me, so she is still up for sale.
  5. Having second thoughts about selling this rig, going gig with it tonight and see how I feel in he morning...
  6. Wasn’t looking to sell them separately, but feel from to make me an offer and I will consider it.
  7. Forgot to mention that the combo is Indonesian and the extension cab is Italian. Also I don’t know whether they have made any adjustments to the power amp, but the tweeter does not hiss anyway near as much as it used to.
  8. I was looking at trimming down my amp collection, however this has got me tempted, and I’m gigging in Sheffield on Friday night 😬
  9. Anyone played or got one of these? The 210 combo is tiny and as light as a feather, can’t find many reviews on line though, would be interested to see what opinions are?? https://ashdownmusic.com/products/original-c210-combo
  10. Well I’ve been “that guy” by not putting photos and location 🙂 located in North Notts and photos to follow 😃
  11. I do have a soft spot for these brown / mocha Jazz basses from the 70s... lovely
  12. Beautiful bass, i love the way some of these limelight’s look, I’d have to put some proper Tort on it though 😬
  13. Would consider trading for a decent jazz bass, limelight, fender roadworn or Sandburg....etc
  14. I’ve kept this as back up for the last year but only used it once or twice as I tend to use my Walkabout to gig with. Its recently been serviced and had a new power amp installed, she runs great, it’s just not getting used so time to move it on. These are great rigs for small or large venues. both combo and can come with padded Mark bass covers.
  15. I love these jazz basses with the pickguard which includes the control cavity. Quality instrument.
  16. Not sure about this, not seen an E9 serial number before for 79/80, surely E9 would be 89??? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202402946661
  17. Stef just bought some strings from, paid promptly and kept in touch. Top basschatter 👍🏻
  18. My Mark Bass CMD121p the power light comes on, and the the DI is fortunately still working but nothing through the amp, any thoughts? New power amp has fixed the problem
  19. Being a little obsessed with Tort pickguards, here are my 72 and 69 Jazz bass Torts, feel free to list yours with the date and what it’s off, it will be interesting to see the differences... Top three is a 72 Tort from a Jazz bass Bottom two is a 69 Tort from a Jazz bass
  20. Price drop, £25 deilvered, brand new in their wrappers...
  21. Lee bought some strings from me, an easy simple and quick transaction, a pleasure to deal with 👍🏻
  22. These are awesome, I swapped mine for the 121p combo with the NY extension cab, but would go back to this quite happily.
  23. I’m an habitual setterupperer (if that is a real word....) and tend to have a regular play around with my set up most weeks, so the hot weather just means I get to do it even more 😁👍🏻😁
