I have a Chord IEM16, cheap as chips but ok for my needs, however one receiver is occasionally really noisy, like a big mad white noise type noisy and the other the headphone socket is dodgy so the jack is loose and can be pulled out by my moving! Between them they make one decent receiver. Any one have any ideas how to remedy my woes!

in which case they say they have a channel button. I thinnk you would have to set up each time you wanted to connect to a different transmitter though
Yes that looks like it! Fair enough re the multiple transmitters, no big deal to take the transmitter out when switching basses and I could use the other set for my upright.

I have some of the 5.8GHz systems but mine have a channel select (1-4). The ones without the channel have a pair button that you have to press on both at the same time to pair.
I have to be honest, I haven't received them yet. Bought them from Aliexpress so who nows what will arrive! But they definitely say 5.8 ghz but are the wooden look ones which appear to be an older model. Channel selection would be ideal tho.

I bought a couple of sets of these, just too cheap to resist. If anyone has used them can you use two transmitters and one receiver? So you can switch basses without removing the unit. Also I don't think you can't specify the channel so if you were using two full units do you just turn one receiver/transmitter on, it makes it's connection and then do they same with the next?
Cheers

The backbeat is a vibrating thing on your back, so you feel the signal. It also has a headphone output if that is what you want so that you could hear the bass. I use one live, but I don't use its output as my (separate) iem carries the sound of the rest of the band as well as my singing, which is something I want to hear but not feel!
Really helpful thanks!

You can practice with headphones plugged directly into the backbeat. But live it just handles the bass.
Just so I understand, for live using IEMs you're not actually using the Backbeat's headphone out, it's the 'vibration' from the unit that makes the difference not the actual audio?
Sorry for being thick!

I’m clearly a bit late to the party with this but just so I’m clear. Does the bass and the IEM signal go into the Backbeat (separate inputs?) and then an output to headphones and one to the amp or PA? I should just look at their website!

Looking for a new Endpin, not too cheap not too dear! The Gewas look ok at around £80 but great to have some suggestions from the more knowledgable!
-
Thanks for the replies! The current endpin section which fitted in the bass (is that the pear?) was a wee bit loose so could probably be a little bigger.
-
I need to replace an Endpin in my spare bass. I’m going to have to visit a luthier to reset the sound post so they could also fit the endpin. But I thought I might just buy all the parts …. Is there a standard size and does anyone have any Endpin recommendations? It’s a Romanian Michael Poller bass.
cheers!

This should fit OK unless you have some very high pedals...

I picked up a Mono Lite + pedalboard for a lightweight option but can’t seem to find a bag or case. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Dimensions are 457 x 145 x 38 mm

Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone knows of a volume pedal that takes a TRS input from a Ric and splits the signal to two mono outputs. I have a home made Rickosound which is great but I’ve just bought a Helix Stomp and I’d rather use the expression for switching snapshots than volume. If I could get a volume pedal I could dispense with my DIY Rickosound. Cheers!

I'm looking for a stand for a 1/4 DB - I'm tempted by the HORA one TPJ posted - would it work for a smaller bass do you think?
another alternative would be to DIY a stand like the upton bass model, but I'm still not exactly certain how stable they are. If the bass is just resting on them, aren't they susceptible to falling forward?
thanks
My bass is not much bigger than a quarter size and it fits fine. I'll get a pic.

I bought the mono, cant knock it really great quality.

I've generally had a good experience with Aliexpress but I reckon I've been scammed this time. Got to wait 15 days to raise a dispute!
