1. Cheers for the info! I spoke to the Poul Ciok who makes Cioks power supplies very helpful. He said the Minitaur manual states 7 Watts which corresponds to 583mA. He say's Ill need to have 600mA available for this unit.

  2. Cheers Stu finding a bit problematic to find a power supply that delivers that. There is some info online stating that the Minitaur psu is 1200 ma but the device draws much less. Potentially you could use a lesser powered supply. The Cioks DC 10 has two DC outlets at 400 ma so maybe I could double those to get 800. Need to do some research I think.

  3. I know it's a cliche but I really don't want to sell this but not getting used! So I'll see if there is any interest!

The bass has a Mahogany core with Wenge facings, Indian Rosewood fingerboard with inlaid m.o.p. dot markers, Schaller machineheads and black/chrome custom Wal bridge. The neck is 34" scale/21 frets and of a six-piece laminate construction of Rock Maple, Hornbeam and Amazonian Hardwood. Electronics are the standard x2 Wal pickups with Volume, Blend and two parametric EQ Tone Control pots. There is extra 'pick attack' with the pull up Volume pot and extra focus on selected frequencies with the two pull up Tone pots. The bass also has ¼" and an integrated XLR balanced output, which allows for direct connection to a desk or other balanced input. It is currently strung with 45 - 105 strings.

Good condition for an instrument that's 31 years old!

I have a lot of pics if anyone is seriously interested!

I'm away for a wee cry now...

  5. Any of you guys had to claim USPS insurance? Just got an EUB delivered and its a got a chunk hoofed out the headstock. On the whole somewhat f***ed off as I was hoping to pick the thing up and play it at a gig in the states and sneak the fecker back (wrong I know) but fate has worked against me. It was posted and I received a big customs bill to boot!

  7. Set of brand new Hotrod JB64 pick ups for a Jazz bass. These are built on the same machines and to the same specifications as the tremendous Wizard pick ups, Andy Blake passing on all his experience to the guys at Hotrod before retiring. Bought for a Japanese Jazz that has since left the building!
Simple effective – old is best, dc for Bridge 8.6 k ohms with the neck coming in around 8.2 k ohms these pickups are a great replacements for vintage pickups or for those who want that vintage sound without ‘vintage costs’. Supplied with cloth covered cables and black covers.

  8. Zoom MS60B awesome multistomp pedal with over 58 amps and effects. Does a great job of emulating classics stomps like the sansamp bass driver and popular amps like Aguilar, Ampeg etc. More compressors, octavers, chorus pedals than you can shake a stick at. Only selling as I have the B3 and the sounds are almost the same, though the MS60B allows you to chain 4 virtual pedals as opposed to the B3s 3. Great nick and I probably have the box somewhere.
