Hi there, I'm currently playing through a markbass JB players school 1x15 and I'm looking to buy a new head and cab. Which is the best shop in London or South East that I can take my bass along too and try a few? I just got myself a Fender Precision Delux 2011 and I'm looking to get a head (500W@4 ohm, 300@8ohm approx). And a cab. something like a 2x10 and then add a 1x15 later on. Thanks

I'm thinking of getting a Markbass cmd 151 jb players 1x15. If I wanted to add another cab to it at a later stage. What cab would you suggest? Thanks

I'm sort of new to bass, I've played guitar for many years but got a cheap ibanez bass a year ago to do some home recording. One thing led to another and I'm now playing bass in jam sessions. I started playing through a 50w 12" keyboard amp and picked up a carl martin compressor, then bought a carlsboro b90 1x15 which died on me just b4 xmas. I'm thinking of buying a markbass cmd 151jb players this week. I need more oompth and it's weight attracts me. Plus, markbass right? It's a very different instrument, there's much more subtlety to it I never considered before but I'm enjoying it so far. I suppose I'll be looking for a better bass sometime soon. Anyway hi all.

Hi, My shitty Carlsboro 90W 1x15 amp from the 90's blew up the other day and I'm thinking of getting a "Markbass Mini CMD 151 JB Players School Bass Combo" Has anyone else played one of these? What did you think of it?
