  1. I use the same head as you. I used tgo have two Hartke 210XLs (I used to have a MAzda MX-5 and that was the only solution!) I've now replaced it with a Marshall MBC410 which is really robust, 37Kg, and sounds great. It's 600w too, so is nice to have that bit of leeway. Happy cab hunting!
  2. The start of the theme music from The Bill, figure that signature out!!

  8. "I'm really going to miss that roar, the jeers, having my ears ringing hours after. The dark smoky, sticky rooms, and the tireless thankless jobs that you take for granted....Darling, I'm going to miss you...."
  9. Aww Cheers, I'm a bit of an amature photographer. Yeah Part of me thought of getting the Wesley replica for £100 and spending a couple of hundred pimping it, but the Jags are too nice! Action is just perfect!
  10. Nah, we just went to the same school of posing! Although I've never been seen in the same room as actor David Spade...
  11. I obviously love it, probably too much, phworr!!
  12. Me playing hide and seek with myself around my rig...
  13. I play in a grunge band and would love to say "Image doesn't matter, it's a social construct..." But TBH: 1) When I go and see other bands, and they look terrible, like they all want to be in differnet bands, it's awful, even if the musics great. I feel the same if people play the tracks standing perfect still, like they're recording or something. 2) I feel most comfortable in my old pants, and a stained Nirvana Tee. However, knowing that I'm going to be standing, playing to loads of cute female adoring fans (ahem...) I want to make an effort. I guess it's personal choice between looks, and performance. But I ask you, would you sleep with Susan Boyle if you knew she was amazing in bed? Nor would I.

  16. I have an MX-5! I wrote to ashdown with the dimensions of my boot asking what Combi they'd recommend. They emailled back within minutes, with a picture of a boot rack. Nice to know they have a sense of humour!
  17. If you're only after a £5 or so you could come to a more informal arrangement: "Let's say a couple of pints and a CD?"
  18. Cheers guys & gals! Ooh, I'm playing at The Crown in Peterboro in December: Nick do you know what it's like?
