1. We're supporting the Caezars at The Portland Arms in Cambridge on Friday 6th March. £8 Adv. £10 on the door. See ya there! Tickets: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/297347
2. We had a radio interview last night, went so quickly, quicker than gigs! Was great to be on a well established rock show. Interviewed was Grant Nicholas from Feeder, Joey Tempest from Europe, and us! Ha! Happy to be added to our hosts wall of fame
3. You're Vile: Enjoy! http://youtu.be/4vsdBWAFXkU
4. I used a suction pad mount for the bridge end shot. We'll have to do a swap Highfox!
5. Excellent! Here's my GoPro attached at the bridge end: http://youtu.be/wXOAqomvDno
6. Cheers guys, sounding like it is most likely an ear issue. The keyboard player was hearing his amp distorting too. I've been naughty and complacent with ear plugs last couple of gigs because they've been weeks apart. Lesson learnt!
7. Something I've noticed recently: About 45 mins into a gig my bass sound seems crapper! A bit more distorted and clippy. This is the sound coming from my amp not the venue. I use a Fender Jaguar (a real one) Hartke HA3500 head, and Marshall 410 cab. Is there anything that'd change in sound over that time? I don't change any settings. Weird thing is our keyboard player says he has the same thing, which led us to think it might be our ears?! Any thoughts?
8. Sold to the lovely Andy! He collected tonight, what a lovely chap!
9. Soz, not been checking this as often as I should Text sent Andy
10. Unfortunately, Truckstops singer went and bought some only this morning, so has no need for them. So bump, these are still for sale!
11. Great idea! They are the XL Series. These ones: http://www.google.co...ved=0CDkQ8wIwAQ Soz only have pic on my phone at the mo, they are mint.
12. It's been a week, anyone interested?
13. Where abouts are you? Does Donny imply Doncaster?
14. Nope, worked with one band, then not the next, so both just denied fault. Had another show the next day. Just had to go out the next day and buy new ones.
15. Someone at a gig kindly blew up my speakers, never sharing gear again! Cabs are in mint condition, speakers are completely dead. £30 ea. or £50 the pair, buyer must collect from Ely Cambridgeshire.
16. I've lent my amp out once. First band played it fine. It didn't work for the next band. So neither band claimed fault. I wasn't insured. Amp was beyond econimical repair. I went out and bought an identical amp the next day for £887 (we had 3 more shows that week) I spent the week in a rage and drinking heavily. Never, ever again. We've done 24 gig's this year, I've been asked to lend my amp at every single one. Including the 3 upcoming gigs that we've booked but not yet played. Never, ever again.
17.
Let them use your 30 quid amp then.
Y'know on the Top Gear challenges where they follow them round in a hateful car, I feel like that! I fear we'll get blacklisted for being a**eholes about lending gear. But as you can see from the last mail, they expect us to get to the venue, not headline, and provide back line free of charge. I'll try and get a pic of the amp of doom up soon
18.
Oh I like that... "We're travelling up from London {to where?} so only bringing ourselves and breakables and one smallish guitar amp. Can you guys get a bass amp?" Right. So a bass amp isn't breakable then..?
All the way, 50 Miles North to Cambridge. I like the way they also played on the "We only have a small guitar amp" card, hinting that they'd like to borrow our guitar stacks too. (Note: All of these email assume both head and cab when they say 'amp')
19. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but as much as I've tried, this is still happening at every single gig. I've been as blunt as I can with people. How often does this happen top other people? Here's our last 3 gig bookings:
20.
Dunno why but...
Ha ha that's excellent!! I've gotta send that back to the original photographer!!
21. Me, having a bit of a scream last night!
22. Cheers, I also found this useful. I have a HA3500, and always assumed I could buy a single unit rack and pop it straight into the logo space! Cheeky buggers, what's the thinking behind the 18" rack then?!

No Plan B

I haven't got round to updating the poster yet but tomorrow (5th August) we're playing at Club Revolutions in Peterborough. We're playing with a band called CIVET, who will be playing later in the month with a band called 'Gun's 'n' Roses' at the Reading & Leeds fest. So come on down and have a good old perv at us, and them!
24.
receiver on top of amp - 15 / 20' lead to pedal board - pedals - duplicate lead return to amp
ah haaaa...not thought of that! Cheers! On models that I've seen other bands using the reciever resembles the reciever that The Simpsons have on top of their TV...
