  1. A Thunderbird without the stupid 3-point bridge, nice
  2. Just to add this weighs 4.2kg according to the missus' baking scales
  3. Using my missus' baking scales I make it just under 4kg
  4. More photos, also has Hutchins soft case + certificate.
  5. This has sold (on eBay) Due to a cashflow imbalance I am selling some of my bass guitars (more flowing out than in at the moment) I'm really reluctant to let this one go, so if I correct the imbalance soon enough it'll be withdrawn. It's in great condition - apart from one small dent shown in the photos, protective film still on the pickguard and pickups. It sounds amazing - zingy and bright from the bridge pickup whilst the neck pickup is properly fat. Price includes postage or delivery in person if you are reasonably local- if you want to collect from just outside Trowbridge in Wiltshire I will knock off £20
  6. Due to a cashflow imbalance I am selling some of my bass guitars (more flowing out than in at the moment) Here is a 51P style 4 string from Freya guitars in Ireland, it's a great looking thing and sounds really good. I have barely played it as I don't get on with the neck - it has a 38mm top nut and my fat fingers just can't cope! Of my many basses it's the only one with this slim a nut.. It's actually blonde rather than white, hard to tell on-screen - still has all the protective film on the pickguard and control plate, which may look a bit wierd in the photos. 7. This has gone - traded with @anzoid Due to a cashflow imbalance I am selling some of my bass guitars (more flowing out than in at the moment) First up is this Cort Curbow 4, it's a great bass in really good condition. Freshly setup with new D'addario nickel 45-105 strings, it plays fantastically. There are a couple of small marks on the fingerboard which I have tried to photograph and some dark patches on the lacquer near the top nut. Unfortunatley as I am 6'3" and not small it just doesn't suit me, so I am offering it for pretty much what I paid for it but with the added benefit of new strings and battery. Price includes postage or delivery in person if you are reasonably local- if you want to collect from just outside Trowbridge in Wiltshire I will knock off £20. This is a real lightweight too - just 3.3kg is what I make it according to the kitchen scales..
  8. £1275 for a squier? The world really has gone mad!
  9. I recently had this arrive for a clean and setup as a friend was wanting to sell it. I have really gelled with it, so much so that I'm keeping it! Just a Stagg, but not bad
  10. Regarding the position of the zero fret - is it where the nut would normally be or is it more like Buzz Feiten's system?
  11. Wait, I can get tablets for GAS? Why did no-one mention this sooner?
  12. Normally around £32 a pack that I can find. Registering for the Players Circle on the D'addario website gets you a free set every 8 too.
  13. It's not far from me either but I currently have a surplus. The fingerboard separation is putting me off too. Pretty sure the same seller has a Hohner B2 headless up for sale as well.
  14. Thanks, too far for me but I'm sure not for some..
  15. I purchased some pickups from Alain - they arrived straight away, were well packaged and a great price. Thanks!
  16. I have a plentiful supply of degreaser at work which did the trick
  17. Thanks for the heads up, it's well used but very serviceable for £25 Collection was an interesting experience too - the chap selling it was Kosheen creator Markee Ledge.
  18. Likewise, shame as I quite like the look of it. GLWTS
  19. Can I ask what the spacing is at the bridge?
