  1. I was thinking the same, would you be willing to post it?
  2. This is my third - I bought a B10 with a busted neck and the lefty B20 with a right handed B20 neck fitted (still has the original model sticker on the back). It has the B10 body and preamp, B20 neck, pickups and hardware. The body was bashed about a bit so I sanded the whole thing to a matt finish except the ABT logo, with a touch of relic-ing to smooth out the dents. My first was a white B10, picked it up in the early nineties. I defretted it but lost it after losing contact with a guy who had it in his workshop. Second was another B10, this had been taken back to bare plywood and played lovely. I had a declutter and put it on eBay where it fetched the grand sum of £26
  3. B20 you say? If I had seen that for sale I may not have built this from two..
  4. My partner asked how many bass guitars I need.. My answer - all of them!
  5. Mine is a Q5 Pro, I have kept it for sentimental reasons - I didn't have an eBay account when I got it, my best mate bid on it for me. A few years later he died in a car crash after being diagnosed with terminal cancer so I can't bring myself to sell it.
  6. I don't like mine, which is not it's fault. Turns out I don't like 5-string basses with narrow saddle spacing.
  7. Thanks guys, I go by many names!
  8. I just purchased a Hohner B-bass from Andy. It was exactly as described and really well packaged. Despite the best efforts of the morons in the post office it got here safe and sound. I would happily deal with Andy again
  9. I haven't noticed any change in the sound, they use Monel alloy which is properly expensive, very hard-wearing and resistant to acid and salt corrosion. Ideal for strings if you ask me
  10. Derp! I was expecting one of these.. http://www.psaudio.com/article/the-mother-of-all-speakers-moas/
  11. Indeed, if one was that concerned a semi-tone detune would probably balance it out!
  12. Good news about the replacement, a loose jack socket can often be cured by simply bending the tip contact towards the centre.
  13. I just bought a pocket operator from George, it arrived quickly and well packaged. Very happy thanks!
  14. I am never sure if it's Hartkey or Hartkuh, my feeling is the latter but most go for the former.
  15. I'm working on it - number 17 should be leaving Manchester today!
