We are writing a song about the dangers of too much reverb. This shows the dangers perfectly.
Sung in the style of Tom Waits - it's called Wookey Hole!

I wasn't bothered but turned over to see how bad it is...
Awful, it's really awful. She is completely tone deaf by the sounds of it.
One should never judge a festival mix straight away however, it's a different game to normal live production.
My first ever actual board!
I have some better patch leads on the way which will help them sit a little tidier.
I'm undecided on the CS-3 as it's noisy.
The Digitech pedal bottom right is connected to my TCE combo with 2 Tone Prints so may just use a Spectracomp on there instead and then maybe pop an Ashdown Lomenzo Hyper Drive in place of the CS-3. Toying with a chorus for the other Tone Print. The expression pedal toggles 2 different setups on the Poly Blue Octave.
I'd be interested in suggestions for the signal path - it's currently Q-Tron - Octave - CS-3 - Le Bass.
I saw Vola support Devin Townsend at the RAH - deliberately didn't listen to them beforehand either.
I was blown away - they are properly good, proof that you don't need to play fast to be heavy.
These Black Claws is a track I particularly like 👍
My cohorts and I have always called it Pilton anyway. I used to work there but haven't for a while. Not since I stopped being willing to do it for free funnily enough.
Afternoon gig in a town market yesterday. Our fourth one together, and was really quite excellent performance-wise. Sadly only two microphones on stage so I had to project loudly over my bandmates left shoulder!
There's definitely a right string for every bass - I have NYXL on my Allen Eden Jazz and it sings. My Yamaha 5-string sounded kind of lifeless with them but Regular Slinkies made it come alive!
