  1. The gloves are off now. You lot are just posting puns in an attempt to stroke your egos.
  2. Just trying to pad out the thread with cricket puns eh?
  3. The pickup rings are intact! I need a set of those and can't find them anywhere ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  4. Hopefully will see something before then but I've just booked to see Nuns of the Tundra in December.
  5. I got one of these a few years ago, not sure how that would work now we are post-brexit. Mine was a little poorly finished but nothing a quick go over with a stiff wire brush couldn't sort and I got a partial refund too. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOTCHED-STRAIGHT-EDGE-for-Electric-Bass-Guitar-Neck-TOOL-34-35-/131803388753?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  6. And this is why I've been between bands for longer than I've been in bands!
  7. It was a rhetorical question - did anyone see the moment of TV gold when Chris Eubank on Top of The Pops had to say "Now in at six it's Suggs with Cecilia"?
  8. Quite, your Rob Allen was very briefly bass of the day for me until (at your suggestion) I tried it. A sublime instrument.
  9. I played that bass for about 30 seconds. It was so lovely I had to hand it straight back as if I'd held onto it any longer I think I might have done a runner with it. Never have I clicked with an instrument so instantly. I think I should try out the La Bellas... I'm a big fan of really light gauge roundwounds on a fretless. Rotosound Funkmaster go well on a 4-string. Lots of bwwwaannnnggg.
  10. Bit of a bargain I thought, if I liked a skinny neck I'd have been tempted.
  11. No, simply click on the username of the person you wish to message and then click the envelope symbol under their name on the profile page that opens up. ๐Ÿ‘
  12. Nate Navarro as he tends to refer to himself these days is one of the best all-round players I know of. A true professional ๐Ÿ‘
  13. I like the art deco tuners.
  14. Simpler than you think, looser than you think. Such a great part, sounds like he is using rounds too.
  15. The Squier Katana predates the Warwick by at least 15 years ๐Ÿ‘
  16. The original Katana bass was Squier only. ๐Ÿ‘
  17. You've had one of everything!
