    I imagine so, my point was that comparing 4 and 5 string versions of the same bass you won't get the same sound. This was my experience, others may disagree. My sound engineer brother is of the same opinion.

    A 4 string tuned BEAD will not sound the same as a 5 string, the extra wood makes a difference.

    I remember taping Voodoo Ray and Birthday (by the Sugarcubes) - I played that tape until it wore out. I fell in love with Bjork that evening and still feel it now 🙂

    Have Iron Maiden written anything new since the 80s? I find them very same-y - same old dum diddy dum clankety clank that they've always done. Or am I missing something?

    That's bloody cheeky if you ask me, if you've ordered a new bass that's what you should be getting. If it's used, then there needs to be some recompense. They aren't even offering a gig bag!

    I have exactly the same experience with regards to nut width. I get unbearable cramps in my left hand too. I also don't get on with anything below 18mm bridge spacing.
