  1. That bridge is quite similar in concept to my YG made Washburn guitar.
  2. They've been handing out packs of antiseptic wipes at work. The lads in the workshop were most amused and looked pointedly at the bottles of degreaser they clean everything down with!
  3. I once played at a club in Cardiff, we had no spare cash but were getting paid at the end of the gig. We asked if we could have a pint each (5 of us) on a tab to be deducted from the fee only to be flat out refused. So we drank water all night and took the whole fee home. Clearly the guy hadn't worked out the economics of the situation!
  4. My point is that there is an enormous amount of attention being paid to the deaths of a relatively small number of people whilst ignoring wider issues in the world.
  5. Malaria kills over 1200 people a day, every day.
  6. I have some really nice Washburns with plywood bodies. 👍
  7. By which I mean you had to take the neck off, just like an old Fender.
  8. My 1969 Kay (which I just sold) had the date of manufacture on the neck. It didn't have a serial number however.
  9. Nik purchased a Thunderbird from me, was great to chat to and is thoroughly recommended. Enjoy the bass mate!
  10. I'm interested, what headstock profile are they cut for?
  11. Along with the tuner-less strings, the variable string spacing and all the strings in the centre section of the headstock being the same thickness. Almost exactly like a bad Photoshop one might suggest...
  12. That's more than double what I recently sold one for (admittedly not ultra rare Aquamarine). I was happy with what I got, that's a crazy price.
  13. Still here, still a ridiculous bargain! Help a brother out would you? I have £28 to see me through the month 😐
  14. Empath by Devin Townsend. Quite possibly my favourite artist of all time, there's very little of his work that I don't like. I pre-ordered it, excitedly played it the day it arrived and felt completely cold. I didn't play it again for six months! I now absolutely love it, and listen to it all the time. It's multi-layered and rich with detail, and even manages to revisit the sound of Strapping Young Lad.
  15. Musicians and comedians are the social and political commentators today.
  16. Fcuk 'em, he had every right to say them. Too many people complain about modern music having no depth and meaning but that was a brilliant, stirring performance with a real point to it.
  17. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/487775028826480/
  18. I've seen an orange 414 on FB for £100. It's a little 'road worn' but that seems like a decent price? Any thoughts?
