There are a few on here that I've used the button for, that seem to want to antagonise for the sake of it. It's a nicer place without them.

I saw the Blockheads in Frome on Saturday. The band were awesome, however I've never taken to Derek's vocals and still feel the same. I get that him and Ian were close I just miss the fire and anger. It's a shame Andy Serkis wasn't up for a career change!

I was involved in running a stage at a festival 9 years ago, the Blockheads were one of the many great acts featured. It was a genuine pleasure to be able to thank Norman for being such an inspiration to me 👍

I am primarily a bass player, I love mixing dance music and am heavily bass influenced in that genre too. However, when driving, I absolutely sing my head off. Everything from Ian Dury to Twelve Foot Ninja to Disclosure. Lyrics combined with good music have the power to bring me to tears. Tears of joy, sadness, even laughter. I think some of you dismiss this power unthinkingly. I also dabble in writing poetry, but always with a rhythmic meter as if they were song lyrics.

Lol @Frank Blank while you lot are scrapping I might just use the commotion as cover to scarper with @wrinkleygit's lovely bass. I'm bringing an empty case...

I'm almost ashamed to say I've never heard it. Making Movies and Love Over Gold are two of my parent's albums I listened to most growing up 👍

I lent my BG250 208 to a guitar playing friend for a quiet-ish gig recently. He uses pedals for his sound and with the bass EQ rolled off it sounded great.

Just one of the many things wrong with that ad!
