  1. Agreed, turgid dull and uninspiring. My mum loves him, she's 72.
  2. Get Mark Phillips to reduce the string count 👍
  3. Buy it, try it, if you don't like it someone else will have it for that money. Although on the flipside I've had sellers cancel transactions when they don't get what they'd hoped for in the bidding - despite having been paid.
  4. Either square on or at a right angle to the section of headstock the tuner exits from. IMO of course.
  5. Plenty of love, however I am assuming you want cash? 🙂
  6. I reckon @NancyJohnson is going to be envious 🙂
  7. I have a TC BG250 208. It makes a great practice amp but also sounds huge through a 4 ohm 4x10. I'm getting rid of loads of gear as a consequence.
  8. Following on from the Cure they've just shown clips of Christine and the Queen's, the Streets and Billie Eilish all absolutely killing it. Good to see 👍
  9. Exactly! My greatest memory is this - I worked all weekend on the Acoustic main stage, the last act finished and we de-rigged the whole stage in just over an hour. A quick change and a small amount of time later was coming up hard on MDMA and NOS in Shangri-la dancing to Birdy Nam Nam. The moment they started playing this remains one of the most enjoyable of my 47 years.
  10. I don't think much of this Oasis tribute 😐
  11. The Courteeners appear to be partial to a hollow body
  12. Foals now - with a Travis Bean guitar 😎
  13. The Glastonbury you see on TV is the one parents are happy to take their teenage kids to. Meanwhile Pilton festival carries on away from the cameras, where there is pretty much every type of entertainment one can imagine or wish for and some you've never even dreamt of!
  14. Dammit! I was planning on bidding too, but only if it stays cheap...
  15. I'd recommend trying to fit them in the same orientation as they were on the saddles and tuners.
  16. It almost certainly sounds better through the TV than it does there.
  17. I'd happily see at least 16 of those, and there's far more to see than the ones on the poster.
  18. There's a red RBX760A in Shaftesbury for £250 which I happen to know was bought from a local charity shop for £120. I was tempted but don't really need it and the hardware was quite tarnished. At £120 it was fairly priced, £250 is a tad unrealistic.
  19. I picked up a proper USA SUB on Gumtree, for a lot less than they normally go for. I normally set my search radius to the maximum distance I am prepared to travel so if they are too far I don't see them. They're apparently the nearest thing to an actual Stingray, maybe not the lightest though.
  20. To the OP, who was up high and off to the side. It's also apparently just a mobile phone doing the filming, which will have a very narrow frequency range by comparison to human ears. 👍🙂
  21. I purchased a fantastic Taurus cab from Marc, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks!
