  1. I think the program was more about pointing out the role of bass to people who might not be quite so aware of it as us cultured folks, so the musical choices were pretty obvious ones.
  2. Likewise! I had a proper reminisce back to my car stereo days
  3. I liked it - Tina Weymouth had a far more humble approach to the subject than Stewart Copeland, I think she probably played bass for about 5% of the amount of time he played drums. There was a clear bias towards more mainstream, popular music - one hour is not enough time to get everything in! I was particularly touched by the Herbie Flowers segment, I'd say he was perfectly entitled to that pride 👍
  4. I'm glad not to get badgered to download Tapatalk - most of the forums I go on use it but I'm not interested.
  5. The older and more decrepit we become, the more important the weight is!
  6. To stop unscrupulous types using his serial number, I reckon.
  7. Blatantly pinched pretty much all of their songs more like!
  8. My first proper gig was Defiants at Peewees Real Ale Bar in Trowbridge, sometime around 1988/9.
  9. You have 2 choices - The Chain, or Seven Nation Army. Anything else will get zero recognition.
  10. Enjoyed that, looking forward to the next installment.
  11. He may claim not to know, however many of us have told him exactly what he is selling.
  12. Seller is claiming 648/864 scale length, but the nuts are in the same place and there is barely 20mm difference in bridge position. I wonder if they mean 648/664?
  13. I am struggling to see the 200 mm difference in scale length?
  14. I can see how that would work for you👍
