  1. I found it intriguing , it's not likely to fit with the music I play but interesting nonetheless.
  2. http://www.hohner-cshop.de/en/Guitar/Headless-Bass-Series/Basses-Bass-Headless-BB/Hohner-B2AV-Headless/ Not cheap, but parts are available here.
  3. Likewise @Woodinblack - I also like the warm fuzzy feeling I get when I walk into my music room and see my various instruments. I don't think a stack of cases would have the same effect!
  4. I have a proper hankering for an 8-string, I would be interested to know how you get on with yours @Al Krow
  5. Page one, line one of my book of management techniques.
  6. Har, challenge most definitely not accepted. Another project is the last thing I need! You, however, have all the Hohner parts already - all you need is a cosmetically challenged Peavey to go with it. If only there was one around...
  7. I have a very similar Peavey here - horn, heel, pickups and the end of the fingerboard look identical.
  8. £5500? Shut the front door!
  9. Yes, as @cheddatom has explained above.
  10. The venues he booked were pretty shabbily treated too - the first news I saw on this was from a venue 'outing' him as a sham. Have to agree with @Sibob - I reckon the guy is a psychopath.
  11. I use Phosphor Bronze on my acoustic - I like the challenge of trying to play cleanly with them, it's good for the technique.
  12. I have a couple of plywood Washburns here - they are pretty heavy with quite small bodies. Sound great though
  13. Best - probably the old Ibanez P-bass I got from @Bassassin, although @AndyTravis sold me a nice Hohner. Picking up a Hohner B2av 5-string for 70 notes was pretty decent too! Most disappointing for me was a Big Muff - not impressed with the tone, much prefer the Ashdown Lomenzo Hyperdrive.
  14. As I understand it, Davey504 has made over 1/2 a million quid from YouTube so is probably way more successful than anyone posting on here! Fair play to him I say, if he's making a living doing something he enjoys then surely he's doing it right?
  15. The plugs do require a firm push, they aren't coming out in a hurry that's for sure!
  16. Nice, looks like a Tokai version of a Jazz Bass Special 👍
