  1. Oof. These are like Hen's Teeth. Such a good set up for bass and upright. This gives me serious gas. GLWTS

I worried about the power supply as well. I stood on mine as well! I haven't noticed any wiggle in mine, just went and checked and it's in there pretty tight. Do you get any interference with the power supply? I ended up sticking it on a pedal board with the CIOKS power supply.
  3. Thanks so much for replying guys, really appreciate it! Gonna get myself a set!
  4. Hi everyone, Bass guitarist here who plays upright occasionally. I get maybe 1 or 2 gigs ever couple of months. I try and play at least once a week to keep my hand in but mainly focus on electric bass. I've always used the stock strings that came with my bass (Stentor 3/4). I always quite liked the sound so never really bothered to change them for anything better or just different. 10 years down the line after various dings and repairs the strings have lost their growl that I liked in the first place. Also I'm starting to get more gigs on upright and have found that they are giving my hands a bit of a beating. Can anyone recommend a lighter tension string that still gives a decent growly sound? (Should mention that I don't bow, and play a mix of jazz, folk and blues). Thanks in advance for any help and thanks for reading this long post! Andy
  5. How is this still here? This is an absolute monster bargain. So much amp. I would have this in a shot if I didn't already have one 🤣
  6. Oof that is so nice. If that was a five I'd be on my way to Cardiff right now.
  7. That is gorgeous.
  8. If you don't mind me asking, how did you find the upgrade of the pickups to the stock sound?
  9. Plus 1 for attendance. Macclesfield based.
  10. Oof. Good job you're so far away from me.
  11. Do you have any recordings of it? Don't suppose you ever venture up near Manchester?

Updated last night. Global EQ was the first thing I found, very handy.
  14. Brilliant. Thanks mate!
  15. Thanks everyone. Really appreciated the support. I'm going to go for it 🤦‍♂️
  16. Hi everyone, Not sure if this is the most appropriate place for this post?? Does anyone offer a pedal board building service in or around the NW of England? I love seeing your pictures of slick little temple audio boards with all the extra frills and attachments. I've almost pulled the trigger on the kit a few times but in the cold light of day when I'm honest with myself I have to realised that there is no way I could put one together. I can barely wire a plug. Any recommendations welcome!

Have you guys played with IRs much? I've been using mine for gigs and practices. mainly just using the cloud based patches and tweaking them to my liking.
  18. Amazing amps, someone's getting an absolute bargain here. Glwts

  20. Man, that is amazing
  21. For sale / trade, the most gorgeous bass I've ever owned. I wanted one for years and when I found one I snapped it up. Fast forward 4/5 years and I've played it a handful of times. To be brutally honest I struggle playing this bass whilst standing. Sitting down it's perfect for me, but I'm not that sort of player. Therefore I'm forcing myself to put this out there. I found the Hagstrom case to be the only hard case that would fit nicely. When I emailed Warwick about sourcing the case they said they would happily provide me with a big quality Warwick decal to cover free of charge to cover the brand of whatever case I bought. As you can see I didn't bother. All the paperwork is present including the purchase receipt from the original buyer. Im a firm believer that these instruments need to be played. It is an absolutely travesty that it spends so long in a case, not being used. Hence the sale. Price is fairly firm. Trades of similar value. Condition is excellent. There are a couple of little marks on the headstock. I can't decide if they are actually scratches or marks in the beeswax finish. I've tried to photo them as clear as poss. There is one decent scratch on the area near the back strap lock which was probably me. I'd rather not post this. It frightens me! Thanks for looking!
  22. Oops. Sorry mate. I haven't been very on it with replies. It isn't heavy though. Please accept my apologies. I will rectify asap.
